I bought this book for my Art class students. The book is well written, contains vital information and is easy to read. The price is attractive as the book is. Great buy!!! Would recommend to purchase.

We absolutely love these books! My 6 years and 10 year old read them cover to cover, and, so do I! Easy to read and interesting facts about people we all should know something about, perfect!

I just love Monet. What an interesting, ill-tempered, self-motivated man! This is a nice short little book that has some cool illustrations and great information for beginners looking for a brief overview of Monet's life.

Bought for a middle school student who loves art!

The book explains how Claude Monet didn't care about becoming rich, the only reason he painted was to become happy.

Love these books! We have bought several different ones and will continue to get them! I have kids from 4-11 and they all enjoy them. They are of course very simple reading for the older ones but give a great simplistic view into the amazing painter and help to get the kids more interested!

Durch die Reihe "who was.....?" (Es gibt nocj sehr viel mehr Bücher davon über andere berühmte personen), kam ich englischmuffel zum Lesen.Die Bücher sind leicht verständlich geschrieben, haben eine große Schrift und einige Bilder sind immer mit dabei.Es ist nicht nur eine normale biografie. Es sind viele "neben"-Geschichten (so ca 1 seite) über die Person bzw über das was sie bewegte mit drin. Das macht es sehr interessant.Ich habe mittlerweile 8 von diesen Büchern gelesen. Das ist für mich wirklich ein Wunder.Ich kann es nur empfehlen, gerade für nicht sattelfeste englische-lerner.
