Floral oil
Idk why I thought the product was bigger. But regardless the product smells wonderful. Came with a little flower in it too. Makes the skin nice and soft too. Though could be a little bit cheaper, I think it’s still nice. Just wish there was a product control instead of having to pour it out in your hand. I’ll definitely buy it again though

Great for skin and bath
This is an awesome product that I have used over the years. It smells like a tropical vacation! The dried flower is at the bottom of the bottle, and it's dark. It's not mold, or a spoiled product! Please stop writing bad reviews! The oil will solidify when cooler, but you can run it under hot water in your sink to liquify it. The "black stuff" some of you are writing comments about, is just the tiare flower. I first rec'd this oil as a gift at a festival, and loved it ever since. It's great in my baths, & on skin.

Great lasting scent.
Incredible product. I love using this oil right after a shower. I use a santal body wash so building on that scent with this oil really helps the scent last. Really turns your shower into a luxurious experience. If you want to smell great for hours and have people complimenting your scent, try this. The only downside is that the product needs to be warmed to turn into an oil. Take it into the shower and put it under the water stream for a minute and it will be ready for pouring after your shower. I put on an unscented moisturizer and lock it in with this oil.

High quality oil that smells delicious!
Love this oil! I’m a huge fan of oils and use a variety of them on my skin and hair. I have tried regular coconut oil but my hair just doesn’t seem to like it very much and it sits heavily on my skin. That being said, I ordered three of these bottles in different scents - vanilla, regular coconut and Tiare. I was hesitant to order the Tiare since it is a gardenia flower but thought maybe Tahitian Gardenia smells different than the gardenia I’m used to. I was wrong, it’s definitely gardenia! The coconut smelled amazing though - like toasted coconut which I loved, though it just smelled like regular coconut oil once I applied it to my skin. Then there is the Vanilla scent. I am not a vanilla fan and expected to like this the least, but I like it the most! It smells sickeningly sweet when it’s in the bottle, but once you apply it to skin or hair it’s very light and sweet. So feminine! It doesn’t smell like cheap imitation vanilla either. This oil sank into my skin like a dream (applied right out of the shower with skin still wet). It left my skin soft and smelling delicious! Bonus points for it being made in Tahiti. It has now become a staple and I will be purchasing the Vanilla scent from now on!Note:The only downside is the packaging. Despite reading numerous reviews warning people to be careful when pouring out the oil, I made a huge mess and lost 1/3 of a bottle on the floor. It is an open-necked bottle without any kind of stopper so a lot comes out very quickly when the bottle is slightly tipped.

I like it but I doubt I will buy again.
I do really like the smell but it isn't the best tahitian gardenia smell out there and it certainly isn't to die for. As for uses- according to their website, it is said to be used as a pre-wash treatment for hair but it has very little effect on mine. I'm an avid user of silkworks and biosilk for my dry, chemically treated hair, but this just doesn't compare. For the skin, it's moisturizing abilities are about the same as lotion-weak for initial use, perhaps long term it does something. When my hands feel dry, this doesn't fix it and neither does lotion (I have to use udder cream or cocoa butter). It does absorb into the skin very quickly. The smell is very strong for a few minutes and then is gone rather quickly unless you get really close to it. On the positive, it does make a very nice massage oil when mixed with a carrier like sweet almond (you will want to mix it just because the initial scent is too strong and I think it absorbs just a tad quickly for massage). If I do replace it, it will be for massage. I do love the smell though. If you are putting it on your hair, it will leave a very greasy appearance (it is recommended as a v-05 type pre-shampoo treatment, not a leave in) but the smell will last much longer than on the skin. I can still smell it the next day. Just be careful going outside- the bees can smell it too! I would definitely buy it again if it were under $5.

Memories of Moorea
I used this oil when I vacationed in Moorea years ago. I have thought about it so many times and how wonderful it made my skin feel and smell. I finally realized that I could look for it on Amazon and I was so happy to find it. It smells just like I remembered. I apply it right after a shower and my skin looks and feels just like it did in Moorea. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it arrived as a solid and is still solid in the bottle. Even in my steamy bathroom, it will not liquify. I have to squeeze globs of it out of the bottle. But I still love what it does for my skin.

OMG
This oil is perfect! I was looking for something to replace my bodyshop monoi oil since they went out of business. Make sure to try small amounts on your hair. Too much will make it oily and heavy. Small amount goes a long way. And the smell is absolutely amazing. Reminds me of an exotic flower.
