Used these to fix a surface. Easy install. Steps1. Cut the strips into individual strips, no more two strips per sheet, make them individual lanes.2. Pull part of one side off half way down on the side sticking to the frame, then pave the sticky side along the surface groove. Remove more as you pave the way down. **Keep the protective layer on the other side that goes to the glass.3. Go all around the four edges, thenif happy, once more firmly to better set.4. Check everything once over, screws all in, thermal on the cpu, everything connected.5. Test the digitizer and make sure it works, touch and screen. Test camera, wifi, blue tooth, pen, cpu fan, speakers etc. Be a shame to have to reopen to connect a cable.6. Remove the protective strip from the sticky side that binds to the glass side. Tap on the glass as you lay it down to set to get it into position and press firmly once happy to set it more firmly7. Put the clamps on the surface and wait for it to firmly set a few hours. I leave it over night sometimes.8. Clean finger prints and enjoy fixed gadget!

Way better than trying to use the clear tape method, this is already cut to fit.
