Review: Try another brand - This is the second everflo pump I have purchased, the first pump lasted a couple years of light use, there are much cheaper pumps but I stuck with what I knew. With the new pump I only used it a couple short times and noticed a lot of leakage from the head. Unlucky for me I missed the product return window. If I used the pump regularly I would have noticed the leak and sent it back earlier. I have attached a photo of the leak. The head screws are tight. I hope this helps. Review: Has great reviews - I spent the extra money for a quality pump and this was a huge disappointment. It did work as advertised and I sure did like it, but it made it just over a year and it quit. It no longer works at all and I'm having to replace it. I use these a lot. We spray farm chemicals with them weekly. We do take good care of them but we do use them a lot. I expected this pump to last for at the least several years for the price, but it only lasted about a year. I can buy cheaap pumps with the same GPM and pressure for 1/3 the cost and they last longer. I do not believe I got a good value for my money. ## Features - 12V pump that can handle up to 5. 5GPM & 60 psi - Self priming up to eight feet - Approved For use with agricultural applications - Fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene pump manifold with ” FNPT Port - Standard mounting pattern to fit most sprayer tanks.Replacement 12 Volt diaphragm pump for variety of makes and models. Can be used for other fluid transfer applications such as disinfectants and sanitizing.Corrosion resistant Viton valves and Santoprene diaphragm.12 volt wire harness sold separately ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007ZQZLJC | | Brand | Everflo | | Brand Name | Everflo | | Color | Black | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 1,085 Reviews | | Flow Rate | 5 Gallons Per Minute | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00814485010436 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 22.2L x 13.2W x 12.1H centimeters | | Item Type Name | Everflo 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump - 1/2" FNPT Connection | | Item Weight | 6 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Everflo | | Manufacturer Part Number | EF5500 | | Material | Polypropylene (PP) | | Material Type | Polypropylene (PP) | | Maximum Lifting Height | 8 Feet | | Model Number | EF5500-BOX | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Product Style | Diaphragm Pump | | Product dimensions | 22.2L x 13.2W x 12.1H centimeters | | Specific Uses For Product | agricultural applications, disinfectants, sanitizing | | Style | Diaphragm Pump | | UPC | 814485010436 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 12 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Everflo - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Polypropylene (PP) - **Product dimensions:** 22.2L x 13.2W x 12.1H centimeters - **Style:** Diaphragm Pump ## Images ![Everflo EF5500-BOX 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump-1/2 FNPT Connection, 5.5 GPM - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51euIS3xERL.jpg) ![Everflo EF5500-BOX 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump-1/2 FNPT Connection, 5.5 GPM - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51cxhl1E2iL.jpg) ![Everflo EF5500-BOX 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump-1/2 FNPT Connection, 5.5 GPM - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51i2ll95yoL.jpg) ![Everflo EF5500-BOX 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump-1/2 FNPT Connection, 5.5 GPM - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lRZEWBemL.jpg) ![Everflo EF5500-BOX 5.5GPM 12V Diaphragm Pump-1/2 FNPT Connection, 5.5 GPM - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81HPlbmVHjL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this pump electrically sealed so that it can be used in the bilge area of a boat?** A: Not a pump designed for marine duty. **Q: Does this pump have an automatic shut off?** A: It is a demand pump and shuts off when it doesn't sense the demand **Q: Can this be used for ethanol?** A: No - it is clearly labeled on the side of the pump: "Do not pump flammable fluids.
