Has never fallen off or come loose. Used for many years. Only issues is it does not allow for wireless charging. Need to remove phone from case to place on wireless charger. Otherwise excellent. But this system works very well, I have this on my full carbon road bike, so weight is always taken into consideration and rigidity due to speed at which I cycle. I have had this system for 3 years now and it has not failed me. Buying the iPhone XS MAX case was a no brainer. But if like me you drive as well, have another case with the metal back to magnetise in your car is a good idea. I did try to stinge out and just use this case - it is nice, but you probably like a see through case if you bought an iPhone.
