Review: Great cane ... - This cane is great. It is easily adjustable for a range of perhaps 6 inches. My previous cane, which I misplaced, was similarly designed, but this one is more sturdy, elevates another 2", which is great for my 5'8" height, so I am actually standing more erect, which is great for my posture and less straining on my spinal cord. I bought three, one for the 2nd floor of my home, one for the 1st floor, and one for the car. Saves me dragging it around when I don't need it. I LOVE this cane. Big improvement over the wooden ones that my grandparents used to use. However, it comes in a bag with what seems to be an extra, large foot pad (4 are inserted on the base), but it is too large for the base, and doesn't fir over the light end, so I have no idea what it's intended to be put into use for. I guess I don't need it. Cane is strong, sturdy, and a helpful pleasure to use. It does fold down to an easily portable item. I highly recommend it.

**Q: How do change the quad leg to the single**
A: Dear friend,
First, you can spin the quad base off the tube.Then insert the pipe body directly into the single base.

**Q: how do i return this  item ? the light is not  working if fact it   never did work right  Bought it 7/2020 thank you**
A: I had problems with my light also.  First I tried a metal washer between that batteries and thread on cap, but I couldn't get the cap on.  So I put the washer between the batteries and that solved the problem, but occasionally if I drop it, the flashlight will come on by itself.   Think I used a #10 washer.  Some tinfoil may work too.

**Q: what is the weight limit?**
A: I believe 300 lbs. I wouldn’t order this cane again. It falls over repeatedly even after I bought and changed the quad foot. Due to repeated falls the light stopped working soon after I got the cane.

**Q: Need parts for pivoting quad base? My husband lost one of the bottom rubber parts.**
A: If you type in replacement parts for big Alex cane, it gives you the parts. I think the quad foot replacements are around $7-$8.

This cane is great. It is easily adjustable for a range of perhaps 6 inches.
