Absolute favorite
These are great. I have thick hair and it holds it nicely. I love to use these and then put a clip in as well.

Addicted to Blax
My hair is thin and fragile. I almost went totally bald on the top of my head due to medication side effects. I tried the cloth "no tug" ties and STILL lost quite a bit of hair on my hair tie. Then I discovered BLAX and it all changed. I might have a few hairs on the Blax band after using it for a week, but nothing like before. They are a little expensive, but they rarely break and if you keep them in a designated place, you won't lose them. I took a picture of the 4mm size next to a chapstick to give you an idea of size. I believe they have a 2mm size, but those are pretty small and tend to break more. I will not be without them. Save your hair and buy some Blax:)

These will change your life!
Blax are SO much better than a regular hair tie. If you have a lot of hair or hair that needs to stay in its exact place, look no further. These will save you so much time fussing with extra rubber bands, bobby pins etc. The best part is that they don't rip out my hair like a regular hair elastic does. They have a super strong grip on your hair, and even if it takes effort to get them out, they don't take your hair out with it! Love these so much!! Highly recommend for ponies/half ponies/any other style you want to stay put.

Looks too small -- but it's not!
I bought these after a recommendation from my hairdresser/friend. I was super excited to find a hair band that could hold my hair while I jumped around and worked out without having to adjust it 25 times! When I received these in the mail, I thought it was a mistake. Did I buy the wrong size. Was about to return them when I said, wait -- just try it first. It took a few tries to feel more comfortable stretching out the band -- it doesn't break, but feels like it will. It was very easy to put my curly below the shoulder length hair into a pony tail. My hair stayed put for hours! No pain, no headaches! The only issue is that it has such a tight hold, it is a little difficult to get a finger hold to remove. Not so bad that these are unusable. oh, they're also too small/tight to wear on your wrist for "just in case." So just wear it in your hair and forget about it. These hair bands live up to the hype! :D

I heart Blax Hair Elastics
They're great. Gone are the days of the scrunchie and claw clips (the horror). Aren't they? The Blax snag free hair elastics do a great job to blend in with my hairs and make for a pretty classy plain do. They're not the best for a high anchored ponytail with long hair, so I keep it low or use two to hold a messy bun in place. Great for pigtails without obvious elastics ruining things.I have red/auburn hair. I use the brown most often. They aren't a perfect match, but they are less obvious than the clear elastics. They last as well. Use them many times before they lose their hold. I have used these for two years and have never had one snap/break on me; they just stretch out.

They used to be better.
Disappointing because 2 have broke before I used them. Normally that would not be a big deal. But for this price, kind of a deal.

Best hair band out there
Not cheap but worth it. I have thick, curly hair and I work in a profession that expects us to be polished and dressed in business level attire. I can pull my hair back in one of these and the band is invisible in my hair giving the appearance of a pulled-together look and not a sporty ponytail. These are durable and do not hurt. Highly recommend.
