Love in my Language

The book reminds me more of a memoir than anything else. I expected a bit more in terms of the poetic content but nevertheless for someone who's only "met" Alexandra Elle via the world wide web it was a good introduction to who she is as a person and how far she's come in her life's journey.It's a very quick read and usually accompanies my coffee on quiet mornings.

This book is amazing and I am grateful the author shared her story and her pain.I''m getting a second copy for both my best friends who need to read these beautiful words.I was hooked and so sad when I was done (Read through this really fast).Taking my time with the other two books and soaking in all the beautiful words.

I absolutely loved this book. I read it all in one sitting and I wish it was longer. Great insight, relatable content, and just an overall powerful book. I just broke up with someone I was dating for 5 years and this book helped me realize I wasn't alone in my thoughts and that after such great pain, joy will find me again.

Brilliant. Raw. I love how she can capture her darkest moments and make them so beautiful. Effortlessly written. Being a person who has dark moments I can totally relate to her, and I think it's brave of her to be so vulnerable & open. I'm buying everything this woman writes. Support the great writers from the start.

Love it. A very raw yet refined, telling poetry & prose book of love. A great read, I believe, for all genders, as it speaks to the soul on what love means and has been to her. The heart... the essence of Alexandra is on perfect display through written words. As I read each one, it provokes and welcomes self-introspection to discover MY love in MY language.

I really like reading this book. I like how the author put stories of herself in the book so some of the readers can relate to, share and empathize with.

I read this book in a few hours. I was just an okay read. I've read much better poetry before in other books similar to this one, so in comparison, there are better books to spend your money on. But if you're just looking for something to read, it's a decent book with a few great poems scattered in with some okay two-lined poems.

I really love this book it spoke to me and I cried because it was resonates with me. Thank you alexander I will be buying more

Absolutely love Alex Elle and all her work! This book has a bit of her personal stories in the beginning and then continues towards the end with poetry pages! 💓

Such an inspirational book with such truth. I could not put it down. This is a book I can take every where with me and reflect on. It's as almost as if the author knows the thoughts that have been running through my mind and knows the experiences I've been through, which goes to show everyone goes through similar situations, it's how you deal with it and realising your worth. Very happy I made this purchase and excited for anymore books the author may publish in the future. Thank you Alex.

This is a fantastic read from Alex Elle. Her style of writing in this book is great for anyone looking for short bursts of motivational as well as inspirational reading. Books like this can often be quite predictable but Alex's writing style allows you to stay interested throughout as she takes you through some of her journey in life.Definately getting more of her books!

I'm a female and i brought this book because it was recommended.i have just broke up with my boyfriend of 7 years it was very messy and i was so hurt by his actions.this book was very affirming in my life, it made me feel great i could relate to almost every single poem in the book.its written beautifully, it is definetly worth the money.
