For 3+ for sure, but fun and functional. Easy to make decent music with this accordion.

So here's the scoop. We bought one of these then ended up buying more for gifts! Cannot believe how awesome this thing is. Very well built and sounds great. Cannot say enough good things about this little accordion!! Buy it! You won't regret it!

Overall, I would give this 3.5 stars.The main caveat is that it is not built of sturdy materials. Our nephew broke the retaining strap clip while trying to open the accordion up. The bellows are made of paper and need to be used gently.The sound quality is about what you would expect. You can discern the various tones, but this is not going to have the quality of (nor should you expect it to) of a professional model.There are buttons on the side that control the pitch, and the duration and loudness are controlled by how fast and long you squeeze the bellows. One bellow full of air could generate many notes in short bursts, and the loudness depends on how hard you are squeezing.The buttons are all in range for the reach of the typical middle grade child's hands. Our nephew was able to easily reach all the buttons for the pitches.It comes with eight simple songs, and our nephew was playing those songs for us within three days of having the accordion.There is a bass button that lowers the pitch of the keys, and we were not able to figure out the "chord" button. (Our guess was that it let you play different keys simultaneously, but it did not work as we expected.)All in all, this is a nice present for the middle grade musician who is interested in learning about the accordion and basic music theory.

Cheap way to pique interest in music but it has a stiff bellow and the one I got was also leaked a lot of air. The thumb strap broke within 2 days due to the cheap faux leather and tiny screws that tore through it easily. Buyer beware. Maybe invest in one that is a little more quality.

Good quality

Bought this is a fun gift for a 4 year old. It's a bit difficult for them to play at that age, but it's a gift they'll grow into and probably enjoy for a few years. The quality is decent, no major flaws though it's obviously not a concert instrument. The size is right, and large enough for a parent to collaborate on the fun. Good value. I can't speak much to the tuning or longevity of this product as it's a new gift and in the hands of a toddler. Time will tell. The goal here is to introduce a kid to melody, not buy a lifelong instrument.

This is a toy! Looks great but sounds very bad. Each note played by each button does not sound good. Pushing one button and pulling out or pushing in is about all you get. Would be very hard to play a song. Would not recommend this if your child if they wants to learn to play the accordion. Iv been playing for 30 years and I can barely squeeze out a song. Not happy with this purchase.

Our granddaughter loves this. She's only 2 and hasn't wrecked it yet!

Fue un regalo para niños de 3 y 6 años y les ha encantado, han conseguido manejarlo los 2 rápidamente y suena muy bien. Parece bastante resistente.
