I shortened my hair by 1 inch and cut my bangs. It hides imperfections due to lack of hair cutting skills.

This is a nifty gadget. It takes some practice to use properly. I would prefer a little more fringe effect but that could be a user issue.Great for blunt cuts, bobs or bangs.

What a great idea to save time and money without going to the salon. I saw this on a shopping network and wanted to try it. Sadly, this is not as great as it was demonstrated on television. I have been cutting my own hair for several years now, so I know how to use a product to cut my hair. This snipper would stay closed after I cut an end and would not bounce open as it is supposed to. After several more tries, it would then bounce open but then it would pull my hair when I tried to snip another piece. It is as if the blade got dull after a few uses. Also the plastic cover us useless as it pops off when the blades pop open. I really like this idea, however it needs much improvement.

My daughters love this. They are sharp, be careful but they do work well and easily.

I am in the hair industry, and have close working knowledge of this hair trimming tool. It is very easy to use but requires some first time user finessing. What I mean by that is to "work" the tool to loosen the hinges before applying it to the area to be trimmed, ( in the salon we also remove any previously cut hair, and oil it before storing). This is a versatile product that is both fun to use, and a time saving tool.Everyone has a reason to use this!
