Very tasty low carb rice So happy I can eat rice again since being on keto.

Best rice substitute HOWEVER you must rinse it off, press out the moisture then I put it in a pan and cook off remaining moisture. Then it does have the look and neutral taste of rice! I used cauliflower rice for two years but it always had cauliflower taste, this heart of palm really has a neutral taste! Will buy again for sure!!

I personally like the Palmini rice. You can add flavor and seasonings to it to change the flavor and honestly have a better texture and holds whatever flavor you add to it better than cauliflower rice.

This is the bomb!!!!! We LOVE our Palmini rice and use it weekly sometime several times per week. Great value for a specialty food item. Easy to use, just rinse and add to sauce and boom, perfect! Does have a slight smell at first but after adding sauce it is covered up. A little more dense than a normal noodle/rice but nothing that would make you say ew. The sauce blends into the rice unlike miracle noodles/rices which lets your food taste like what it's supposed to taste like. It is a nice choice or low carb and its gluten free which is nice, no stomach pains. Use this like you would for anything needing rice. Many uses. I've used it for tacos, burritos, butter chicken and so much more. Will continue to use these products.

I originally gave this a one star as I tried all I could to make this taste good. I even tried to make pork fried rice but this dish turned out slimey in texture and was mostly flavorless. However, 2 stars goes to customer service. When hearing about my awful experience they reached out to me and things were sorted out. While I cannot personally reccomend this, I bet there maybe someone out there who would like it.

7/12/2022 update: the buy one get one free 6pk deal i purchased on prime day, is still with a 9/2022 expiration date..5/10/2022 update: the buy one get one free 6pk deal from one of the sellers have an expiration date of 9/2022. no big deal for me, i’ll eat all 12 packs by then but, others may not..i was iffy about trying these heart of palm pastas and put it off for a long time. recently i tried out a Realgood chicken meal that had heart of palm linguine noodles in it and the noodles weren’t bad at all so after some deciding what brand of heart of palm products to get, i chose this brand. Am glad i did, the bags are packed full and there is no nasty strong smell. After rinsing & draining the rice 3 times and drying it out in a large frying pan before adding tbsp of butter and a healthy choice chicken pesto & veggie meal to it, the rice was actually delicious (after initial first taste, you don’t taste the palm anymore) and so much better than cauliflower rice!! i like that this palm of heart rice has a nice dente non-mushy rice texture to it, least the way i made it it did. I was so impress with it that i came on here after dinner and ordered their 6 pack which lucky me just happen to do so when one of the sellers was selling it at a buy one get one free deal so i got 12 packs for the price of 6, making these pretty affordable.. I bought the angel hair ones too but, i haven’t used those yet, don’t expect to not like them if they are super thin like angel hair is..

These were great—nice substitute with no blood sugar highs. Once you rinse the rice sized hearts-of-palm pieces with water it only takes on the flavor of whatever you mix with it.

The hearts of palm rice is a good alternative to rice if you are counting carbs. It is also healthier. If you are looking for a rice taste, this is not the product. Different taste and texture all together, but very good.
