Welch's, Reduced Sugar, 4oz

Pros:Tasty gummy’sCons:Gummies came with a surprise....First box was great. Second box I bit into something hard and it didn’t taste like the gummy, I spit out and it was a dried baby roach body, crunchy and gummy-er once it was chewed, before you realized something wasn’t right and was sour and the texture didn’t feel right.... I am horrified because I only found the second half so does that mean I already ate the first half didn’t realize it? I have this feeling in the back of my throat, like something is there but I can’t gag it up. I drank some milk to choke it down but man I’m not gonna ever get over that feeling. Makes my skin crawl.I buy the fat free low sugar ones from Home Depot or Walmart but because of the pandemic I didn’t want to go in the store. They come in larger packs, I have never gotten bugs in those.I also know if you buy from Amazon you don’t always get what you order or you get seconds and sometimes recalls. I also know know I will never buy these again from any online stores from Amazon. After this I don’t know if I can bring myself to buy them again at all. I was so grossed out. The kind that had the bug in it was the regular kind with 11g sugar per snack pack. The kind I normally buy is the fat free low sugar kind in the large store bags, maybe there’s higher chances of bugs in the regular kind because of all the sugar? All I know is I’m gonna have nightmares tonight.Ps: I have pictures but couldn’t bring myself to post them. My skins still crawlin’ as well as the scratchy feeling in my throat still. Plus I doubt you want to see the pictures.:(

All I can say is these are not the same as I've gotten in my local stores. They are dull in color on the outside, a little differently shaped than normal, and they basically all taste the same. And they don't smell right, either. I called the company, and they told me to call Amazon, as they are the ones who sold it--the rep wasn't helpful at all. Amazon reps are always helpful, thankfully. After eating a few from this batch, I seriously doubt I will have these again--and I always loved them. These were that awful. Hopefully, it was just my box.

I buy these in the grocery store, but they are much more expensive there. They are a great treat. They do have sugars so be aware if your diabetic. But for a snack, they give you a little bit of sweetness and yet have great flavor. I wish I could get all grape! But, the others are great, I eat them like Monk would, separated by color eating the least matches to the most. I'm just a geek. lol.

These Berries and Cherries Welch's Fruit snacks used to be awesome. In fact, I thought it was because they were so tasty that they were not to be found for weeks. Apparently, what actually happened was that the recipe/formulation was quietly changed. It's pretty obvious. The "blueberry" is now blue. That flavor and others are now different from before. Some flavors now have an obvious powdery coating that is quite off putting. I give 3 stars because before this change, these were a 5* item; however, if you never had the original, you may not miss it and might enjoy the new version.

EDIT: Now it is effecting the boxes of 10. I contacted Welch and they are doing a “deep investigation,” after I sent an email with pictures asking them if they had a quality control department.I don’t know what is wrong with Welch. The same product in the box of 10 is without fail, great. The same can’t be said for these. I had these on autoship for 2 boxes a month but canceled it when the majority of the boxes were off. The colors are off, all the pieces taste the same, there is a dull, kind of hard coating and they are just gross. I was always hopeful I would get a “good batch.” At first I thought they had changed the product. But that’s not it, there’s something else wrong. Welch’s quality control is horrible. How can they not realize what is going on? Each batch should be tested, clearly they aren’t. The boxes are never expire, and the grossness isn’t because of expiration. Expiration doesn’t make the colors change from a dark red to a bright blue. Anyway, if your a fan of these and don’t mind spending a little more money, buy them by the box with 10 packets in them via Prime Now or Amazon Fresh.

These taste so good! I buy two boxes every month. Better than Kellogg’s & Annie’s. Delivered in perfect condition. Great flavor & value! My entire family loves these! Great to take to the movies. I have two or three boxes delivered every month!

Nasty, nasty, nasty. Welch's Fruit Snacks Berries-n-Cherries is my favourite comfort food snacks.However, this current order contained several pouches of snacks that were rancid, spoiled and just plain nasty.There are no words to express my utter disappointment. So I cancelled my subscription.Disgusting.😡

I purchase these all the time. They are great. Unfortunately, this box wasn't all that great. Same flavors but the contents in each packet seem to be stale with some kind of dry coating on each piece. I thought it was just a couple of the packets but all the packets were the same. End up throwing the whole box away. Just read another review explaining how to read the expiration date on the packet...PN 19F 02203 = Feb 02 2019. That explains the taste.
