I live in the UAE and during the past 2 years, I ordered many Trousers from Dickies size W42 Regular fit. All trousers were received to the correct measurements and the fit was perfect. I normally order 1 as a sample to check quality and size before I order other colors. And this is what I did with Dickies Workwear Trousers, I ordered the black as a sample and it was a perfect size and fit. Unfortunately, I was not as lucky with the second dark grey pair of trousers. The (W42) size was 3/4 " smaller on the waist and unwearable.Amazon accepted to return (this Prime) item back to the US but I was charged $13.50 courier charges. In other words, I had to pay for Dickies fault and lack of quality control.

This is just a sizing review, I have been a 32 waist for the last 20 years and if anything have lost a little weight recently. These are very tight at the waist. Can't be bothered with the hassle of returning so will see if they give a little and use a belt. If I was buying again would go for 33 waist and 32 leg as the leg length is fine. Other reviews also give the impression that the waist dimension is tighter than a normal uk fit. Will update the review after a little wear - first impressions are that the material feels very tough - a bit like sail canvas - which is what I wanted, something that withstand cycling to work and would look passable in an office environment. Just hope there is a little give in the waist....

These trousers are robust, good thick material and they fit UK sizing as expected. They feel good to wear and they also look smart. The only slight doubt I have is over the clasp at the waist, but time will tell and the zip feels tough. Good side pockets for depth - the back pocket is not so deep but I haven't lost anything out of it. But overall, these are the best trousers I have owned for a long time, so if like me you have been disappointed with internet trousers before, try these - well worth the money - I recommend you give these a try.

I’ve worn Dickies for years and checked the fit and sizing of my other pairs before buying these. But they were so, so tight on the waist and rode higher than expected. I also thought the colour was off - less moss green and more emerald or British Racing Green. Returned.

Really nice. At first they are very stuff but I'm guessing that after a few wears, they'll loosen up. These were also small, I would defo size up, I did and they fitted a bit snug but really well. If you're a girl, these fit well but can be a bit tight on the hips so keep that in mind. Overall, they're really nice and would recommend.

Good fit, look like quite hard wearing trousers. One down side is they absolutely reek of fishy type smell. I'm assuming it's either part of the finishing process or something to do with the packing processes. Absolutely stinks, gagging when I opened the product. I'll give it a run with the washing machine and see what happens. Otherwise good.
