Bondhus 12585 Gorillagrip 3/16-3/8 Hex HF5

Purchased this as a gift, but that's also because I received it as a gift two years ago. This set of hex keys is really good. Specific pros:* It has accurately sized keys* They are easy to use* They swivel "backwards" over 180° to permit you to spin or aim the set at all sorts of angles.* The case is very tough, despite being plastic* It is light in the hand yet you can apply quite a bit of torque* Keys have not become damaged in normal use (e.g. rounded off)No cons whatsoever.The case is ABS or a similar sort of dense, slightly flexible plastic, and is indeed very durable. The manufacturer claims that it's tougher than steel; while I'm not sure I'd go that far, it has not become damaged at all during use, and has not loosened in any way. For instance, I was initially concerned about what could be termed 'cam-out' in the plastic housing, but that simply has not occurred, so I'm quite happy with them and have no reservations giving them as a gift.

I've been using this set for five years at work. The keys are still in excellent condition. Most other brands round off easily, not Bondhus. The way these are made, you can apply a great deal of torque and not worry about the tool breaking.

this works well and heavy duty. it was so good i purchased smaller version so i don't have to keep saving all the allen keys from furniture kits. great price and great buy.

holds up well

A handy collection of inch size allen wrenches. This set includes 5/16" and 3/8" allen wrenches, not usually included in these sets (conversely, the smallest sizes are missing here.) This is the first set I've used where the handle is a strong point of the set. Normally, for applications requiring a great deal of torque I'd put away the allen wrench set and get an individual t-handle wrench. With this set, you can torque down the bolt without worry. The wrenches are only average length, but making extra long wrenches wouldn't have allowed for the tool to be pocket size like this one is.
