Addiction Walker 2 womens Trail Running Shoe

Ever since a sports store recommended a Brooks walker to help me recover from a torn knee cartilage 20 years ago I've been sold on this shoe. Not only did I recover without surgery - and the shoe has to get some credit for that - but I now walk with much greater ease than previously. This latest pair are the best yet providing comfort and stability which gives me much more confidence in negotiating uneven surfaces. And I love the sexy white look! Vanity is not to be underestimated. Expensive but the quality is absolutely worth it.

This is my second pair of of brooks addiction walker shoes the first pair said they were slip resistant but my employer would not let me wear them because the sole of the shoes didn't actually say slip resistant on them but these addiction walker 2s do ,thank god because these shoes are amazing I have bought so many different name brand shoes and absolutely none can hold a candle to these my painfull corn in between toes have disappeared I have no foot pain no knee no hip no back pain I work on concrete for 10 to 12 hrs a day 5 days a week I can not say enough about these shoes.... thanks brooks for making a womens slip resistant shoe now my employer is happy and my feet are extremely happy again well worth the money for no more pain

I needed a really comfortable pair of shoes for 2 days of walking in Washington, DC. The pair I bought last year (can't remember the brand) were a terrible disappointment--feet and legs were aching after only a few hours and when I came home I immediately donated them to charity. I asked by physical therapist and he told me he wears Brooks shoes so I figured I'd give them a shot. I have a wide foot and have had some foot surgery some time ago so I'm really picky about my shoes. I received these shoes about a week before I left for DC and work them to work (in a factory) for several days no problem. More importantly, when I went to DC I had very happy feet and legs! I walked all over the Senate and House office buildings (for work) on marble floors and by the time I flew home by feet and legs were in great shape--no pain, sore legs or anything. (Compared to last year when I returned home almost a cripple!). Anyway, I recommend these shoes!

These are the MOST COMFORTABLE walkers I’ve ever owned. The arch support is quite substantial. I had total knee replacement 2 months ago and these offer great stability. They are just shy of an orthopedic look, but the support they offer well out weighs the style. I put them on as soon as I roll out of bed and I wear them ALL day. Prior to this purchase, my legs and feet would cramp by the end of the day. I spend a great deal of time standing and I am on my feet for several hours daily. My lower back would ache by days end. I can honestly say that since I have been wearing these shoes, my back pain has virtually disappeared - no foot cramps or pain - no leg cramps! I know they are a bit on the pricey side, but so worth the money. They offer tremendous support with cushion comfort. I highly recommend these shoes - they are fantastic!
