This authentic fossilized 1.25" Megalodon Shark Tooth hangs from a 17.5" cotton cord necklace with lobster clasp. It is a posterior tooth with minimal tip wear. Item# NG54. This tooth was found in the Peace River in Florida by the artist. The Megalodon, meaning "Big Tooth" is an extinct species of shark that lived roughly from 28 million to 1.5 million years ago.
