After math of being crushed by a lull.
a different company accidentally did a good durability test on its crush-factor. Since the top is soft and wasn’t made to be crushed, the tools weren’t doing so well. Plastic’s strength can be seen in the photos, practically bent just as much as much as metal (thick stainless steel balisong knife was bent as well) the interior divider was cracked, but probably manageable tbh. One zipper is bent, the other missing. Zipper teeth where the zipper laid was also slightly damaged, a d the tape measure clip was bent as well. Overall, it held up VERY well considering the size of the lull (again, it’s a soft bag so almost all damage is is harder materials) the size is perfect for when you don’t need every tool, and it still holds a lot, it’s very light weight and made very well. It’s well worth the price, so long as it can fit your needs and can your willing to pay for quality

Rugged and Practical
This tool bag is perfect; and it is replacing a K---n bag, which worked well (but I had an issue with the large gator mouth opening and thus the ease of tool location, particularly near the bottom). This Veto bag is well constructed and built to last. The zippers used are herkie and designed for years of use. One of the main reasons I "upgraded" to this bag, is the fact that once a compartment is opened, all the tools are readily accessible. And with two main compartments, it is easy to customize the tool placement (allowing for efficient work, straight from the bag). I highly recommend this tool bag!!!

My first veto pac..
First of all this is the coolest little tech bag,i like all the upright storage it provides for my tools along with the durability you can feel. I do wish the shoulder strap was 3-4 inches longer to better fit the length of my torso so the bag would rest on my hip and not dig into my lower back kindo of like you get with a typical messenger style bag so it would be easier to wear like a cross body style that rest on or near your hip when climbing ladders or walking longer distances. The climbing movement would feel less restrictive an less like a rear naked choke so for me if the strap was a bit longer it would add more to the comfort. Overall i like the product as a service bag an i will eventually move up to the tec pac backpack as i acquire more gear along the way as it seems to better fit my need for open hand movements without having to jostle the bag into position every so often, because its a backpack an not a shoulder tote style.

Overall I am very satisfied with the bag but would make some 'improvements' specific ...
I have used this bag daily for about six months. Overall I am very satisfied with the bag but would make some 'improvements' specific to my trade which is an electrician. Full disclosure; I did not purchase the bag. It was supplied by my employer at my request. Bloody nice of them pay for such an expensive bag. First up a word about Veto and their vertical storage bags. The concept is valid and beyond useful in the trade. It is not new though. Go to the website of Parat and look at their leather tool cases. These have been made for years and use the vertical storage technique though not as thoroughly as Veto. The Vetos are made of super heavy duty nylon and have been well described by other reviewers so I will stick to features. The zippered up sides of the Veto are what makes it work. It keeps things from flopping out of the pockets too much. There are of course several closed top Veto bags out there and they all have their place. This one is the first one I have handled that actually seems designed to accomodate the longer shaft screw and nut drivers used in commercial and industrial electrical and HVAC trades. And it brings me to the one great gripe I have about the product line. The pocket widths and relation to the height of the tools it holds vs height of bag. The pockets are so wide you have to jam two to four tools in them to keep the flop to a minimum. As you will see this is not ideal for certain tools. The MCT addresses some of this. All of the Vetos have back row pockets that are so wide if you put your long shaft drivers in them they flop all over the place. I always load mine with tallest tools in back and taper down with shorter tools in the pockets in front of those. While the MCT is certainly capable of holding an 8 inch shaft driver, the photos I include will show you the issues I have with the 'flop' part. Picky I know but when you do electrical work you need to keep your tools clean and relatively nick free. Multiple tools knocking around against one another leads to extra wear and in the case of my insulated tools is a big NO NO. You don't compromise your insulated/1000v rated tools with grime or damage. So here is my solution. Make the back row pockets about 9 inches deep. Make each one wide enough to hold up to say, a 1/2 inch nutdriver. Taper the top one inch or so of the pocket out just wide enough to allow the narrow part of the handle to rest in it. The width of the main handle part would not go further into the pocket so even short three and four inch shaft drivers could live on that row without fear of them falling too far down the pockets and being a pain to retrieve. The inside of the bags would likely need to be about 16 inches tall to do this but the MCT is just over 14 inches now and is not unwieldy. Then make the row of pockets in front of them the same way except wide enough for one pair of pliers like linesman, needle nose, water pump, crimp pliers or diagonal cutters per pocket. Make them about 7 inches deep and then you could fit ninety five percent of trades pliers in those pockets. Again, on both sides of the bag so as to keep regular tools on one side and the insulated ones on the other. After that you could arrange the lower pockets more like they already have them. Now back to the features to hand. I for one wish Veto would do away with the little 'bit pockets' on the front of the lower main tools pockets. They are nearly useless and I keep bits in an assortment box anyway. This would give just a bit more room at the bottom for bit boxes, files, or a small level to lay across the bottom. The 'back' side of the bag has some larger pockets for meters and similar in front of the narrower pockets like on the other side of the bag. I keep a Fluke T-5 in there but a bigger meter would fit. I also think a Milwaukee M12 or Bosch 12v driver would fit nicely in the right side of the bag there as well since there is a space there seemingly made for such use. You will see my lockout/tagout kit there in the photos. Overall a very well made bag with a much better layout to me than some of the bigger models. I use it for daily carry in my maintenance work. It is about as big and heavy as I want for shoulder carry. You could easily overload it if not careful. Would I buy one myself? Yes. If 170 dollars is too stiff a price, look at the MC model. Shorter for sure and does not have as many pockets and it most certainly will not hold and 8 inch shaft driver upright but it is just under 100 dollars and is a good compromise. Particularly if you do no need the long shaft screwdrivers daily like I do.

Unbelievable tool bag!!!
This tool bag I can’t say enough great things about it it is truly worth the five star rating. It is solid construction made very well and accommodates just the right amount of tools for your average DIY guy who likes to keep his tools organized safe and if you prefer a lock it has the ability to have a padlock secure with you super solid huge zippers together on both sides. There are lotta pockets some of my tools like ours are really sharp and I have no problem with things tearing or ripping or snagging it is just wonderful I have the larger bag as well so bye with confidence and enjoy.

Buy this now, you won't regret it.
Great tool bag. I work in construction and had to buy a new tool bag every year. Got tired of buying the poorly designed, flimsy ones at my big box store. And they were not the cheap. Finally came across these, as my plumber had one and it caught my eye. I really like this tote. It is rugged, tough and fits in my service truck right where I need it. All my everyday tools are exactly where I can get to them easily. The price is well worth it.

This is an amazing quality bag !
The quality of this bag is really impressive !! There are many different pockets and lots of storage, on all sides of the bag and inside the bag ! Unfortunately, the bag was too small for my boyfriend's needs, so we had to return it. We had an excellent customer service experience with this company! They accepted our return request and reimbursed us immediately! There was absolutely no hassle whatsoever !

Great quality
I have been looking for a bag which doesn’t hide tools in pockets which are out of sight. This bag goes a long way to this goal. I added some foam inside some of the pockets and that allowed me to place items in those pockets so they could be seen. This bag holds all the hand tools that I used frequently all the time.
