Surprising Quality for the Price
To my knowledge, this is the only knife of this design in this price range. Others start around the $120 mark. The Good:-Snappy spring-assisted action-Emerson style opener works well-Adequately lubricated and works right out of the box-Handle is comfortable and ergonomic (I wear L/XL gloves)-Comfortable to hold and operate with or without gloves-Jimping (ridges) is comfortable and positioned well for forward or reverse grip-Choil (ground out area of blade near handle) is adequate for full sharpening of the blade-Liner lock is functional and strong without inhibiting opening action-Pocket clip has a very firm hold-Safety is clearly marked to know which position it’s in-Wharncliffe blade shape is a great multipurpose style for edc use and defense-No aesthetic flawsThe Neutral:-Clip came installed for either left hand karambit carry or right hand flipper carry. Needed to be reversed for Emerson feature on right hand.-Blade is 8Cr13MoV. Definitely a budget steel but not poor quality.-Karambit ring is not chamfered or rounded so it could be more comfortable but does provide better grip this way.The Not-So-Good:-Factory blade grind was uneven and not very sharp. This could be a fluke and I just got unlucky though. Simple enough to fix.-The safety switch is in a strange location. If you flip the pocket clip to that side, it tends to catch on the fabric of your pocket and flip the switch to “safe” when pulling it out of your pocket. Not that I’m recommending it, but it’s easy to remove the switch by removing the screws on that side of the knife.-Screws are made of a soft metal and strip easily. Be very cautious if you intend to move the pocket clip or disassemble the knife for any reason.-Closer inspection of the guts of the knife show some rough machining of liner and hidden part of the blade. Doesn’t affect function or aesthetic but worth noting. Conclusion:This knife is a steal for the price range that it’s in. While it does have some noticeable budget components, it brings much more to the table than I’d expect from a knife at this price. The blade may need some work when you take it out of the box but 8Cr13MoV is easy enough to work with. Safety switch is in a strange spot but can be removed/disabled easily (though not advised) if desired. If you intend to disassemble the knife, it would be worthwhile to pick up some replacement screws. This has the features and feel of a knife that I’d expect to pay $150+ for at 20% of the price. I see it as comparable to the Fox or Karahawk in its functionality (despite the difference in blade shape). If you want a budget pocket karambit that’s easy to maintain, this is for you. It serves well as both an edc and defense knife due to its ergonomics and blade shape.

Awesome knife
Awesome knife straight out of the box. Nice and sharp. The spring assist needs a few cycles to be fully broken in. But once it is, it’s super fast. Almost like a switch blade. Some say the safety is a gimmick but I appreciate it because the spring assist doesn’t take much force to get it opened and I wouldn’t want that happening in my pocket.

Real karambit
No dislikes! This product is the first real karambit I’ve been able to purchase for a decent price! This karambit works great, the knife has a locking feature in it that is useful! The craft is well, this knife is well build and sharp; it also has the swift opening feature which operates fantastic with your left hand if you need it for your right hand you have to unbolt it, for me it was fine the way it was since I’m used to it.

Great knife, great feel, terrible locking mechanization.
-Very sharp- Ergo feels great both inverted and blade up- Sturdy build and tight designHowever- Locking button has no retention system and allows it to go from safe to red freely.- Locking button is on the inside when in pocket and rubs against the leg, requiring you to get your whole hand inside the pocket and "thumb" the lock and hold it there to use the pocket open clip on the spine of the knife.I understand the need for a lock, as the blade is assisted open, to keep it from opening inside the pocket and inflicting potentially life-threatening wounds, however, a better design of button or lock slider is required to make this knife a true tool of the kit.

Very solid
Nice knife, fun to play with. Decently sharp out of the box as well

lock is useless for right hand draw
If you switch the pocket clip for right side carry/draw then the lock switch is useless. Other than that its a great knife, quick draw, takes a little to get used to the wave feature for drawing and auto open. IF you have this knife please do the right thing and take a self defense course so you know what to do and how to handle a knife like this. In the wrong hands and it can very easily become a weapon against you instead of for you.

My favorite karambit at any price.
Like a lot of folks commented, a small mod is needed to disable the lock switch (there are vids out there on how to do this or its even quite easy to just figure out yourself, will need some micro torx bit screwdrivers tho). Once this is completed: awesome knife for defense and utility. Super sharp out of the box, price is amazing on amazon compared to local stores. I have purchased multiple of these now not because they break or wearout, they are just so inexpensive and i’m concerned one day they might stop making them!🤣 i did wear out the assisted opening spring on one of them (my fault really for playin’ with it too much). Cannabilized it for parts, contacted “Outdoor Brands” ( the maker of this knife’s customer service), sent me a brand new one no questions asked and they even let me keep the old knife (like i said used it for parts). Excellent customer service too, especially considering its such a cheap knife to begin with.
