go to flux every time.
been using for 20 years never had any issues., the home depot crap is just junk. this will work very will and will not cause any leaks if you know how to solder. worth the money

So many experts said this was great stuff
I can't yet tell you how well this paste works, as all my plumbing jobs are fine lolI got the best solder and paste many experts recommended, so I am prepared. One roll of solder and this small tub of paste, and I could redo all my plumbing if needed/wanted ;-)

Worked great, but using silva brite made the real difference compared to the big box wasteful, irritating brands with poor performance.
