Wow.. and I wish I was a kid again...
OK.. this is a blast. So freakin cool... really.. unbelievably fun. This was intending for my 9 year old and I didn't see the 13+ yrs in the description -- Which looking again.. Its not there.. So for all wondering, this is spec'd for 13+ years and less that 154 lbs. The size of this is huge in comparison to a normal 'big wheel' and the age requirement has just as much to do with the size as responsibility with the 12.5 MPH it goes. My 9Yr old can ride this with her feet on the pegs and hands on the throttle and brake without issue -- but she's tall, so keep that in mind when buying. There's 4 steps to assembly. Rear Axle, Seat, Handlebars, and tire inflation. Its much easier than a bicycle assembly and if you've survived this long being a parent, then you've assembled things much much harder than this. Included is a hex driver and a multi-wrench, but you'll also need your favorite adjustable wrench to complete assembly. Tighten the handlebars and the stalk that aligns it with the wheel as tight as you can possibly get it. I don't remember a torque setting for your technical assemblers, but the included hex driver has its own limitations that make overtightening impossible. For the drifting covers, put them over the tires and inflate the tires to around 54lbs. The tires are rated for higher on their side, but we are really just trying to hold the drift covers in place, not overstress the sidewalls. They recommend 18 hours of charging which is a let down since you really want to make this thing go once completely assembled. But follow the guidance. This battery is an unknown if its replaceable -- (vendor comment please) and there is also a warning to charge monthly to keep the battery healthy even when not being used. The charging cable, once inserted, shuts down the trike and disables the throttle... but turn it off during charging anyway. The wall-wart charger has a red light for charging and a green light for charged -- so as a smart charger I have a little bit more faith that I wont have a melted down unit or a fire if left charging for 2 days.So.. setting the seat on the shortest setting, me at 6'2" and 235lbs, I can sit comfortably on this with my knees up and it's strong enough to hold me and powerful enough to get going on a level grade. At half to full speed with the drifting rings installed... I can easily pull more than a 180 degree turn... with breaking in the drift, more... and wow.. I haven't' done that since I was 9 yrs old.. what a blast. This thing is certainly not rated for me, it's but built like a tank. My neighbors made some serious jokes about me - but I probably looked crazy at 43 yrs old on a trike for kids. After my stress test, my daughter has been tearing up with it. What a blast and it makes me want to be a kid again.

Not worth the price paid
Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. It lasted 3 days before the battery corroded and failed. Called Dynacraft and spoke to an answering service. Very disappointed.

Very durable and loads of fun
This is an absolute ton of fun for any pre teen and teen. The non stop action is a lot of fun for the kids. The sturdiness is great and it goes pretty fast. The skid/drift wheels are a plastic ring that you place over the tire and you will need to add air to get the drift ring to stay on the tire itself. If there is not proper inflation to the tires then they will not stay on. You can drive this without the skid rungs on the bike. The kids seem to enjoy it more with them on. It's very bulky and does take up a good amount of floor space wherever you maybe storing it. The battery is overall pretty good and length of use is really based on multiple things how hard they are driving it how much they weigh and if they are drifting or regular driving but overall the battery gets us about 45-60 minutes of good use. Even with heavy use the rings for the drifting take a pretty heavy beating.

Lots of Fun but with Caveats
Update: Trike quit working during use. Took it apart to check for loose or broken wire, but with an ohm meter I found the on/off switch was open. Called Dynacraft today, 7/12/16 and after a couple tries got connected to an operator who took my information, assigned an order number and said the part would be mailed. Received part on 7/18. However, unable to install until later in the week. I am, though, impressed with the company's response.Essentially, this Ice eDrifter, from Dynacraft is easily put together, about half an hour, or so, for me. But it didn't come with an owners manual and it took additional time locating that on the internet; it did not appear at the Dynacraft website but I found one on YouTube and downloaded the PDF. And the handlebar gave a bit of trouble as the screws wouldn't seat. Put it together in the garage and everything did eventually fit, put air in the tires and I had it on the charger for about 20 hours.I have to say that fun times will trump minor difficulties, anytime, and, this afternoon we were riding it all over the back yard. And, truthfully, it's a lot of fun, for teens, and adults as well. It's a sturdy trike, well made, but the battery isn't a common type and I wonder about it's longevity. When it became apparent the battery was somewhat depleted about 3 hours on the charger was all it needed to rejuvenate. I've included a couple photos.

Need More Speed
Very well built, but just doesn't hold up to the Razor DXT speed. I bought this for my 7 year old son and the Razor DXT for my 9 year old daughter. He is so upset that his sister just flies right past him.

Fun and fast electric tricycle
I bought this for my 10 year old for Christmas. He is big for his age so I wanted something he could use for a while. This electric tricycle is big enough to hold an adult. It goes fast with no problems in the grass. So far we love it!
