I've been using Extra Soft toothbrushes from either the Colgate or OralB brands for many many years. I thought I would give the Dr Collins brand a try and I am very glad that I did. This Dr Collins toothbrush is extra soft with extra thin bristles and perfect for sensitive teeth and sensitive gums especially for gum recession. I especially like how the bristles are tapered with some slightly longer than others, which helps between teeth and around gums especially with crowded teeth. It actually feels like gums are being massaged while brushing, which is very healthy for gums. This is the best extra soft toothbrush that I have ever used. My daughter is using one of these as well. A dentist had her use the Nimbus brand when she had braces, and for some sensory issues. It worked well. She says that this Dr Collins toothbrush is just as good as the Nimbus. So if you are looking for a good toothbrush while wearing braces, then give Dr Collins a try. Overall, Dr Collins is a great toothbrush for those with sensitive teeth, or any perio issue such as gum recession or sensitive gums. It cleans very well, and even massages gums.
