In theory this is a cracking bit of kit - There is 50 metres of cable and the drum may be rolled or unrolled without disconnecting any items plugged into any or all of the three sockets available which is very handy as it avoids having to mess about pulling plugs out etc, just pick up whatever is connected and walk further away from the source - simples. The actual drum is plastic and not all that rigid and will eventually distort and then foul on the frame of the unit (this is the second one I have bought) however the the pro's outweigh the con's and I have no hesitation in recommending the purchase of this unit.

Good quality long and easy to unroll and roll up
This reel is great for working in the yard, nice and long and very easy to roll and unroll. Very happy so far

Excellent build quality
Excellent build quality. was worried it wouldn't reach to the end of the garden but 50m is a loooong way - needs completely unwinding to avoid overloading; can be a bit tedious but the mechanism to wind it back up makes it pretty easy.
