This was the Best Perm for Black Women! Absolutely no breakage and your hair felt so soft and smooth!!! Unfortunately the seller no longer sell this product!! I believe it may have something to do with the risk of all the legal arising from Perm products giving Cancer to Women. It's really to bad because this was a WINNER!!!!!

I have been relaxing/straightening since I was in my teens, and have tried many products. My favorite product has been Maintamer by ISO (which looks to be discontinued). Maintamer was great, as it was the Straightener/Neutralizer, not bad on order, and would soften my curl/frizz to make doing my hair manageable.I saw the Phyto Phytorelaxer and the reviews were positive so I thought I would give it try.It is a bit pricey, but if you use it correctly you can get more than one use out of it. This does have more products then the Maintamer (two products need to be mixed together, shampoo, then reconstructer.My best friend is a professional hairdresser, who is licensed, did my hair for me. I HIGHLY SUGGEST if you purchase this product, have a someone professional or someone who is familiar with working with relaxer to help you apply the product. I know people try to do this themselves wind up doing it incorrectly (this product has a few steps more than the previous Maintamer) and wind up doing damage to their hair.The odor is minimal which I liked, and the shampoo provided to wash out the product smelled nice. My friend who did my hair liked there was reconstructer provided to help seal the hair and protect against damage.This is a great product to help people with ethnic hair to keep it manageable and reduce frizz.Just make sure you follow the instructions given.

I did not want to go back to perms but found this and after one use I was so pleased with the texture of my hair and it was so soft and smooth I was pleasantly surprised!! Thumbs up!!

I have used this relaxer for years. I have been natural for over 10 years but like versatility of going silky straight, or full fro or twist outs, so Phyto protein packed relaxer works well with my high porosity 4a-b-c hair.Rinse and rinse well. Lather and let the neutralizer soak through. My scalp is tough from years of relaxing before going natural. Level one was just right as a texturizer.

This product has the worst customer service. No one answers the customer service phone number and no one calls you back if you leave your number.I have naturally curly hair and used this product thinking it would be great to just blow dry my hair and not have to straighten it. I absolutely HATE the results, I lost so much hair in the shower when I combed it out and my hair isn’t straight or curly.All I want to know is how long is this going to last and will my hair ever go back to its normal curly form???

It helps hair that is not manageable when the humidity is high.

I love the fact that it lets you know is the product is out of the hair or not.

I love this relaxer! My hair is much more manageable when it is straightened, and I still retained my naturals when wet. It also did not burn or irritate my scalp. I recommend this relaxer!
