Q: Is the writing surface glossy? I prefer matte for clear writing.

The interior of the card is a matte surface, perfect for writing. The exterior of the card - front & back - are glossy. Occasionally, I've written on the back and it is easy to smudge. But, no problem with writing on the inside of the card. These cards are pretty and well made.

Q: Can this envelope fit cash without folding?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. You would have to fold the cash when putting it in the card and/or envelope.

Q: Can these be put in the printer

I'm not sure. They are heavy card stock - part of what makes them so nice.
