Stencil can not handle wear and tear.
I got the Moroccan tile stencil which is 9 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches. The stencil is flimsy and very thin. I do not recommend this product to a beginner in stencil art. I have used stencils many times before so I have the patience and skill when dealing with this product. I used photo adhesive and fine tipped paint brushes to make the edges of the design to pop. Once I finished my painting job, I had to throw the stencil away. Even when I gently washed the stencil in between paint jobs. It started to look old. I currently have a stencil that I had for 3 years and it doesn't look old or worn. The stencil design quickly wore away, the edges were no longer sharp in detail and, paint started to bleed through the sides of the stencil. I should have brought two instead of one. Lastly, I have no idea why my pic is upside down, lol. But, the gold mirrors are at the top of my wall mural. :D

Love Love Love It!
This stencil was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to accent an upcycled chest. I bought the chest cheap and wanted to paint it blue with a satin nickel design on the drawer fronts. To achieve this look I first painted the drawer fronts with the color of paint I wanted as the stencil design (silver paint). I then applied the stencil and painted over it with the main paint color (blue paint). This gave me a blue chest with a silver stencil. The stencil added an extra dimension that made the drawers stand out. I followed a few other recommendations by using spray adhesive to keep the stencil in place. I learned through trial and error that when I removed the stencil I had to wipe the excess paint off the front and back of the stencil before I moved it to its new location. All I have to do now is find the perfect satin nickel cabinet knobs.

Good Quality Stencil
I ordered this stencil to put on my bathroom cabinets as I matching curtains. I was kind of hoping that the lines were what we’re going to be the cut-outs and not the inside portion, but I still think I can make it work in my bathroom. It does not quite show that in the product description.

Great product but needs sticky backing
These are really great for accent painting. We used them in our daughter's room on her dressers & night stand. My only complaint is that there is no sticky backing to hold them in place so if you're using spray paint, it's not easy keeping them in place at all. The finished paint project turned out beautiful, but as you can see in the close up photos, we have some blurry spots because the stencils wanted to move and fan up while we sprayed the paint over them.

very thin shapes but elegant design
i purchased the "moroccan tile" stencil in the hopes of using it to paint my rug [weird i know], but the outlines are much thinner than i anticipated. i will likely end up using it later for crafty things or actually painting a wall, but not quite what i intended. it is a quality product, and yes, some reviewers wanted to be able to paint the inverse portion - the black shapes. well people, that isnt a stencil. then its just moroccan shapes that arent actually held together.

Much smaller than it looks
These are pretty tiny, I was hoping for a bigger design but I still like it.. unfortunately it takes a long time to paint as the templates themselves are small too.. Tips - Spray on adhesive that is re-positionable makes it easier to keep on going and reduces bleeding (I used Krylon easy-tack) bring a cardboard box to lay the template in and spray so you don't get over spray on anything else.. position the first row of shapes over the last row painted to keep the lines perfectly matched up.

I was happy with how my project turned out
Stencil is small, so it takes awhile if you are covering a large surface. I wish I had bought two of them to speed things up. You need to use an adhesive spray on the back for it to work well. I was happy with how my project turned out. A stiff brush works well.

Too small for bigger projects.
It did the job. But I will have to use small brush and fix some areas. If doing a big job, use a bigger stencil. This was too small for the job. Stencil seemed to distort after use. It became "loose" and didn't hold shape. Wash paint off when it starts to build up . For a small job, this would be sufficient.

My project turned out beautiful with the mosaic stencil print
I bought this stencil to use for mosaic print on a bookcase. It turned out beautifully, the stencil is strong and flexible. You will need masking tape or a gentle adhesive hold it down on the surface you are painting, as with any stencil you need to do this. I also had to use my hand to ensure its won't move. I used Annie Saloan chalk paint for my project & it looks so amazing, anyone can do this on furniture, walls, doors & fabric! I washed the stencils after use. My tip would be to first try it out on a flat cardboard so you can get a feel how to work it, with very little paint almost like the brush is dry, to avoid paint to bleed through the pattern. If the paint does bleed in parts, you can go over it later with a fine artist brush. I'm really happy with my purchase & would recommend this stencil to anyone who hasn't stenciled before!

Thin but does the trick
I like the design but it's really flimsy and thin. It's small and for a beginner I find it hard to use but I'm getting the hang of it.
