**Q: What is the difference between this and the avital 4003  (non l) version?  i can't seem to see/what differences there are?**
A: There is no difference.  Also if your car has a theft deterrent key you will need to install with this item a key override. Directed electronics also makes several key overrides that mate with this item and are tailored to your vehicle. Also available on Amazon.

**Q: Took it to Best Buy to have it installed.  They can't get it done.  Is it really that hard?**
A: When I bought mine, I also went to best buy after I couldn't figure it out. Best Buy told me that they wouldn't install it because I didn't buy it from them. I think it also depends on the vehicle too. I plan on buying a the Xpresskit and trying again on my wife's car.

**Q: Is this what I need to add remote start to my Viper 3105v alarm?**
A: yes you can as long as your alarm has an outboard shock sensor

**Q: Is Avital 4003 compatible with Europe RAV4 D4D 2007(with Smart key/Push to Start) Manual Transmissiton?**
A: be careful  (wow) Manual Transmission.(my knowledge) One day you will forget to put Transmission in Neutral.if the electrician do not force the engine to not start if you forget to put Transmission in Neutral and parking brake(s) is active// when you start the engine the car will gumping//i do not know if it compatible with Europe or no/ ask Specialist electrician in your Your city.i he said yes he will be the one responsible if you order Avital 4003 ....................
