Amazing, yet fiddly.
Having finished this particular model only a day or so ago (was finishing up with the buster rifle, shield, beam saber and whatever side bits were) I felt it was time I left a review. The overall model considering this is my first MG kit as well as my first true finished model is pretty amazing. The articulation is incredible considering though of course as others have said...it is impossible to hold it's buster rifle though I'm hoping with a stand and perhaps holding with both hands this might fix that. There is of course the issue of the head...not because of it's size but just...the small fiddly parts. I cannot tell you how many times the tiny red pieces on it's chins have almost been lost or have come off. So I will probably have to glue those in. There is also the yellow 'antennae' on it's forehead. I was trying to attach something I think and a part of that broke off which I will need to tape for the time being until I can glue it, though just trying to line it up seemed tedious in and out of itself.Regardless, the EW Version, Wing Gundam is just overall amazing. I had originally intended to order the Tallgeese but had opted for the 'first' Gundam of Gundam Wing instead. Sufficed to say, I am still a newbie at this and therefore it won't be painted or have it's major decals on since I don't feel competent for that. My hope is to at least get those decals on at some point in the future and when I eventually get the EW Proto Wing Zero that I will be able to compare the difference between them (since hopefully I'll be able to paint the Wing Zero). And who knows...maybe I'll get to paint this kit constructed somehow. :) Gundam Wing: 1/100 MG XXXG-01W Wing Gundam EW Ver.Gundam Wing: 1/100 MG XXXG-01W Wing Gundam EW Ver.

Looks great; feels flimsy.
This was a very fun (and quick) kit to build; it honestly felt like I was building an HG with how quickly I snapped it together. This kit looks fantastic, but it has its flaws:- It cannot hold its gun no matter what, so you have to modify the hand to be able to hold it- The knee and shoulder joints are weak- The feet don't have much toe articulation- Some parts are flimsy, especially the shoulder armourWould I recommend this kit? If you love the design, yes. If you're looking for a great low-cost Master Grade, no -- I would redirect you to the EW Heavyarms, Turn A Gundam, Buster RM, Zaku II 2.0, or F91.As for the issue with holding the gun, I suggest that you check out Vegeta8259's review of this kit.
