Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Pads Set: Adventure - 245+ Stickers

So, some months back, I bought different packs of these for two of my grandchildren. Sooo ... one day on a whim, I ordered this pack -- for me. Yep, for myself, a 60-ish Gramma. I said I did it to spend time with one of my grandsons and his friend, but ... well ... they thought they were too old for them, and left, and I just kept playing.These are perfect for kids ten and under, and for some of us, on up to any age. In fact, had I been aware of these, I would have purchased for my husband after his stroke, as a fun and therapeutic activity.The playboards are quite large, and artistically done. This set has a nice variety, with a Pirate scene (honestly, that's the one I got it for!); a deep sea scene, a western scene, space scene, and medieval scene. Each has enough of the vynil "stickers" to make several completely different scenes. The stickers are thinner than the ones of my childhood, but are still durable. They are best stored completely flat though. I put each scene's stickers in a plastic bag, layering them flat.When you first get them, the stickers are die-cut and have to be removed from the backing they are on. I found it easiest to carefully remove te excess vynil from around the stickers in one piece, then take them off the backing. Some of them may still be slightly attached, so care is necessary - an adult should do it for young children.These Sticker pad sets (there are about 7 or 8 different sets available) are a terrific buy, inexpensive, fun, and hours of entertainment. Something that parents and grandparents can do alongside the kids, too.

I wouldn't travel without these in my babysitting bag! Each scene has a page of stickers, and you can remove the scene and the stickers so they become a stand alone activity. What a bargain to get 5 activities for the price, and the flat format makes them perfect for carrying around with me. They have become a favorite in both of my nanny households, and I have even purchased the same set twice because a desired page was used by another child! I highly recommend any of the Melissa & Doug Sticker Adventures. Perfect for quiet times like when a younger sibling is napping. Love this. This is definitively mommy approved! Since the stickers are vinyl (or similar), my 2yo, who still hasn't grasped the concept of creating a scene, loves to stick them anywhere, from windows, to ceramic tiles, to granite counter tops, and he can do that over and over without any mess on the surfaces to clean up, except maybe fingerprints.For older kids, I love the fact that you can actually create a story out of them using a given scenery. The sticker set is designed in such a way it allows you to create a story that evolves in time, not just a single snapshot. I can see how it can help stimulating a child's imagination

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these sets. My grand daughter will play with them for hours! She loves arranging the pieces and then telling me he story. We have been enjoying these sets (we have 7 different sets) since she was 20 months old. She will be 3 in a month and still plays with them at least once a day.I too have enjoyed playing with them. She and I pick our stickers and then place them on the sheet (scene page). Sometimes we do the sheet together, sometimes we do individual sheets.I HIGHLY recommend ALL the M&D reusable sticker pad sets. GREAT value for the money and MOST IMPORTANTLY, great smiles and loads of fun!

These sticker pads are so fun! The stickers come off easily, are reusable, and they provide great entertainment! Two things, by the time a child is 6 or so these are probably far beneath their ability. This may be fairly obvious. The only big con to these is that they are huge. This is great for travel where you have the space, but for car travel for our toddler this is not a good fit. If she would use a lap desk it would be fine, though, so I have high hopes for using these in the future. For right now they are great for karate and doctor's office. I recommend for ages 3-6.It also bears mentioning that these are not TRUE stickers...which is even better, it my opinion. They are some sort of plastic material and that makes it easy for tots to pull out of the sticker pages. My only other complaint about these pads is there are more stickers than can fill a page...which is a good thing...but really there should be a blank sheet or something to story them on in the pad so they don't get lost. I am still trying to figure out what to do with that!

Perfect for my soon to be two year old who wants to use stickers like his big brother. Easy to reuse and reposition. The first time your kiddo will need assistance to get them off but after that it should be easy to use independently. Not the easiest to store for another time wish it came with a little pouch or ziploc pouch on the pad lol. My older one enjoys this too which is an even bigger bonus!

I use the Melissa and Doug stickers as rewards for the students I tutor. Each student can choose a background and then earns stickers to place on their scene. When they are satisfied with their scene, they can take it home and play with it. The kids, ages 5-11, really look forward to choosing their stickers. I do have a little problem with them not always sticking very well, especially if they have been left in my car and been subjected to heat, but dampening them just a little seems to do the trick.

there was a slight hold up in delivery . My 3 yo Granddaughter loves the sticker pad . she makes up stories as she is places stickers on the sheets . We have another sticker pad that we ordered earlier in the yr. The stickers have held up well . A little wash is required periodically and everything is as good as new . Yes I would buy again !
