I didn't realise that these great scrapers were even available until seeing it listed while looking for a replacement magnetic algae remover.It glides across the glass, cutting through stubborn hard patches easily and with little pressure applied. Which brings me to just one concern, the build quality.Being made of tubular plastic, the central tube feels very bendy and I can imagine, if too much pressure were to be applied, it might snap. On the plus side though, others I have compared it with have been made of metal and buyers have been concerned about rusting and the need to dry it off after use etcSo one star deducted for build quality as care must be taken when using BUT as a plus point it does come with a cover for the blade, something not supplied with other makes and a concern when not in use (kids in mind) as some have said in reviews.All in all it does a very good job and reached the grot spots in my 190L Trigon tank easily, something not possible before without a pad and a lot more elbow grease.Also comes with a pack of spare blades though not sure where replacement packs can be purchased. Recommended and I'm happy with the results for the price.
