As the years progressed, I had various problems with my knee. Experienced a lot of arthritis pain, having to wrap them, icy hot them, use a brace at times, just various things. I stayed home a LOT due to the pain. I have gone to various doctors, ever sports medicine doctors that said they weren't quite sure what was wrong. I have had X-rays, and and MRI. They told me they could perform surgery and open up the knee, simply to look and see what they found, but also said if they did that, I might be even worse after the surgery! How the heck is that supposed to help me??? I started to do some of my own research online, and based on the location of the pain, and other people's stories, I realized it's a knee tendon issue. Thanks a LOT expensive doctors! Anyway, recently it began to get even worse. It seems like I could never find relief. Had to ice my knee every day, along with taking the pain pills. I could barely walk at times, so I was starting to give up hope for a "normal" life. Starting to accept my limitations; no more traveling, no more going to an amusement park with my kids, no more pretty much anything. I was so depressed. Then one day my mom called me and told me about a friend of the family that had gained so much weight due to an illness, that he could barely walk. Turmeric needs fats to be absorbed better. Lots of digestive enzymes from pineapple (bromelain) and papaya (papain), too. There should be a tab in the description that lists everything, too. **Q: Is this gluten free?** A: I assume since gluten comes from wheat and associated products this is gluten free, it does have soy in it but soy is gluten free as well. **Q: Source of gelatin in this product?** A: As I am not a scientist and only a user of Inflamma Less, through some research I can surmise that the gelatin is from some type of fish or other animal gelatin. I do know from personal use that I have had no ill effects and it does help ease joint inflammation. **Q: Are these for immediate relief or supplement to build up over time?** A: Anti- Inflammatory supplements are like anti-inflammatory foods. They can combat inflammation over time when ingested regularly. You will not see an immediate result from this product. This is a nice product to help fight inflammation in the body. I have an ankle that swells from an injury. My issue is way beyond a pill, so these don't instantly cure the ankle. However, inflammation in the body is known to be the root cause for a lot of sickness. I personally don't like Tumeric, so having it as part of the tablet is a win-win situation. Like most items, the prices seem to go up and up. I believe the price on Amazon is better than the health store (which tends to run out anyway).
