This is my daughter's special toy. It goes everywhere with her, she sleeps with it, she plays with it, you name it. The original one we bought for her is still holding up. We have washed it countless times. Although the fabric is worn, it is still completely intact. It still rattles even after being washed a bunch of times. You might just have to hit it kind of hard to get it to start rattling again. The color has faded, but in the best way. If you are looking for a special snuggle toy for your child to have from birth until they are older, this is a great choice! We have purchased several of them to keep as extras. They aren't too expensive, so it's worth it!
