Seal Spray Foam High Performance 80% Plus Closed Cell Formula Insulating Foam Can Kit w/ Angled Gun Foam Applicator and 1 Can of Cleaner (50 Board FT-2 Cans)

I used this to coat the inside of a huge shed we bought. It stuck to everything which is what I needed it to do. I didn't order enough and on the second run I used a cheaper product and wow that's when I noticed the importance of it sticking. I tried to save a few bucks and the project was almost ruined. That other stuff doesn't stick or expand or give a nicer fuller end product than than this one. Buy this one, it is a little messy but it works great instead of just saying "great" on the can. "Wink wink"

I thought this would be a great solution to touch up and cover small areas that were forgotten by our spray foam crew; however, this stuff turned out to be absolute junk. I tried using it on the ceiling, but it would not stick and just fell to the ground. Still trying to have a positive attitude, I moved onto a clean wall cavity and thought, surely this will work! I did a quick thin layer, and at first, it looked like it was adhering, and then 5 minutes later, right before I left the job site for the day, it slumped down. So, long story short, I was not impressed.

Screw the can onto the gun, aim, and pull the trigger. Make sure to shake it first! It sticks really well and goes on fast. I think I went through all these cans in 10 minutes, and I’m happy with the results. My only complaint is that I wished it had better coverage but that seems to be the norm.

I needed a smaller amount of closed cell foam than the kits sold in the big box stores, and recommended this. I applied overhead in a difficult attic area, but it worked as well as any. Nice gun, spray pattern and pretty good coverage. It helps to have some experience to apply proper, but not hard to get the hang of. Be sure to cover all areas that would be damaged from overspray. Seal coat is good stuff. Watch the you tube video.

However I ended up using 6 cans when I was expecting to use 2 to 3 cans. I sprayed a metal sliding door that measures 8' x 7' x 2" wide. I did spray a bit thick in order to actually cover the area (less than 2 inches at final dried state). I do like this product and it works really well. I think it is too expensive but again all the spray foam products run high. I spent about $280 to cover an area of 56 square feet Rigid insulation would have been a better and cheaper solution for my project.

Really like how well it insulates if you take the time and do good coverage control

So I have tried this product twice. Once I bought it, and once after I contacted the manufacturer and received two replacement cans. Each time the material left lots of voids and did not expand well. The second time the wall was much cooler AND I lightly misted the back of the sheathing as suggested. I don’t believe the performance can be blamed on poor application….

Order this kit thinking it would work as advertise. but its absolue junk. I followed the direction and lightly misted the area with water to help the product stick. Honstesly you better off paying to get the two container system. I wished I went with that instead. one can barely did 3 rim joist areas. Please do not buy and instead get the 2 can system from homedepot. They look like 2 mini propane tanks.
