The body pillow is super thick but will form to you. It's a bit to firm still for me and my wife's liking.

Not sure of the type, but these pillows hold up well even after washes. Bought more and love them.

Q: How long do they last without becoming flat or out of shape?

I've had mine for about 8 months now and they have not, they're great
