This is the second unit I purchased of these, not because the 1st broke or anything bad happened, but because we love the 1st one so much we wanted to add a second. If you are into seed starting or growing things indoors, then these lights rock. Well worth the price, quality made, and they are so bright you will need to wear the included green glasses. It was super easy to set up, and the different hanging attachments were so handy to have, so you can adjust as your plants grow.

I am using this for my potted citrus trees and sprouts. It's working well so far. It's only been about a month or so. The set up was easy. It's very easy to use. It does give off some heat, which is nice during colder months which is a random plus. It's not a lot of heat though. The controls on the side come with different % of light level you want to use. There is an ability to use it remotely but I did not do that. It was easier for me to use a Smart Plug instead to turn it on and off. Basically no noise. It feels sturdy when holding it and hanging it up. I believe it's only 1 color option. I do not notice any crazy change in my power bill with this either. You do need to keep in mind that when putting your plants inside from outside that you'll need MORE light time. Maybe do a 12-16 hour on and 6-8 hours off.

Light arrived when it was supposed to. Everything worked, easy assembly. Plants are visibly healthy. Ample lighting for a 3x4' tent.

Mixed bag with this one. The good is that it is clearly well made and I like the pulley system. It gives off very bright light with a large area that will definitely be sufficient for my needs. Unlike a lot of reviewers who are growing "medicinal" plants in their basement in a tent...you do you, I'm using mine for veggie and flower seed starting on top of a dresser. The bad: No on-off switch. This means that every time I want to turn it off, I need to unplug the unit, which is awkward. Between that and the fact that there's no timing feature, I'm going to need to pay for an external timer to plug it into, or maybe set it up on my smart plug if I can find it in the depths of my closet. The product says it comes with an extra set of hangers...it doesn't...and that's false advertising. The documentation in the product box lists additional items as included, such as some sort of protective glasses, which aren't in the box. The listing doesn't advertise those, so I wasn't expecting them, but it was really confusing. Instructions also show a dimmer feature that isn't available on this model...again, confusing.

Excellent product and quality. Definitely will buy again.
