Review: Great bottle for hiking & backpacking - This is a great bottle for hiking & backpacking. Love that it's collapsible which makes it very convenient and functional. No smells or taste in water. Quality is excellent; did not burst when dropped on hard ground. Screw-on lid is nice and does not leak. Only recommendation would be to have the lid attached so that it could not be lost, but that is a very small matter, especially since everything else about it is great. Highly recommend.

This is a great bottle for hiking & backpacking. Love that it's collapsible which makes it very convenient and functional. No smells or taste in water. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent low-profile & light water bottle

We bought two of these for airline travel and also for hiking and touring. They worked out very well thanks to a good design and durable construction. When empty, they weigh practically nothing and are super thin. When full, they hold a liter and can stand upright on a flat surface. We experienced no leaks from the bottle or the cap. We like the "closure cap," which is a screw-top cap, because it was very secure and leak proof. We had no issues putting full bottles inside our personal carry bags or backpacks. (Ours did come with caps.) The only negative we found is that there is no really good way to dry them out for storage. Even when we propped open the bag to allow for airflow through the cap, and fully expanded the bag, it still took several days for the inside to fully dry. Storing the bag with moisture inside will lead to bacteria and/or mold growth. We're not blaming the manufacturer, as it seems that this is a problem inherent with any collapsible water bag-type bottle with only a single small opening. So just be careful to let the inside fully dry before putting the cap back on and storing the bottle.
