Good storyline

This movie was such a feel-good film for the whole family. My Dad, who loves sports-themed movies and action films, was very impressed with the movie's storyline and the never-surrender, against-all-odds theme. We had just watched this film for father-daughter movie night and I must say that this movie would appeal to all who love sports films with an inspirational message about fighting for the ones you love. Most impressive was the acting talent of the dearly-departed Michael Clarke Duncan in his last movie. Duncan was so convincing in his final role as boxing coach/trainer and father-figure; he embraced the role with so much warmth and dignity that would make anyone want him in their corner. Very poignant cinematic Swan Song for such a talented actor.

It was better than I thought. Give it a shot.

I really enjoyed this film.Great acting and inspiring.A great movie for family s with older children, there is violence but no foul language.

i rented this because i love the trailers inspirational quotes, sometimes you just need to hear and watch things to inspire you to get back up and keep moving forward. In that reguard this movie did that for me and didnt disappoint. However.... the boxing scenes just look poor, cheap, 2 dimensional and very unrealistic. With that said i still like the movie but just was annoyed with the boxing scenes.

This movie tells me how the underprivileged & the ignored can be exalted w/ hard work and suffering!!

Couldn't have enjoyed it more. Kent Moran is truly a rising young star. Hope to see more of him. Yes, it has a similar story line to Rocky, but then how many times has Sleeping Beauty been remade. We all know the ending, but enjoy getting there. Highly recommend.

I found it to be a great modern Rocky movie!!

An incredible film, it has become one of my favourites.
