Here's what the author of BUCKLE FEVER has to say.
Fixing Your Feet, 7th Edition, has grown into far more than a simple guide—it’s a living, breathing manual for anyone who puts serious miles on their legs. I still have my original copy from the 1980s, when John Vonhof first pulled together his hard-earned foot care wisdom. As an early Western States Endurance Run finisher, he had the field experience to back every page. Now, with Tonya K. Olson, MSPT, DPT’s fresh perspective and modern expertise, this latest edition feels both timeless and timely—an indispensable resource for runners, hikers, and endurance athletes alike. Among the races that Tonya Olson supports, she is invaluable at the Michigan Bluff Aid Station during the Western States Endurance Run, fixing the feet of runners and helping their dreams come true.

Lots of references and useful websites
This book has lots of info for runners- some of it dated (separate toe shoes have had a host of legal problems...) and some of it useful. It aims at serious runners - but since runners have foot problems the info is still handy. But if you're looking for information on problems with the structure or function of your feet you may want to start here and look further for more specific information/exercises. It does have a ton of info on all sorts of resources and is worth the price for that alone.
