Punches above its Weight Class
I purchased this for my son to use after he burnt up my Memphis Audio Monoblock Amp. It was a budget replacement that has outlasted the amp it replaced for a fraction of the cost. The included bass knob is a nice accessory to allow you to quickly adjust your levels when needed. The amp itself did run hot until we added a 12v fan under the center of the amp buy mounting the amp to the box with risers. This avoided thermal cutouts and has made the amp reliable and hard hitting. It is wired to 12" Hyanka subs and provide exceptional punch for the price.

Affordable amp, but do your research
Watched videos that tested the actual RMS output of this amp (D4000) and it does 400 RMS @ 4ohms, 700 RMS @ 2ohms, and 1000 RMS @ 1ohm. If it could do the RMS that Blaupunkt advertises, it would require bigger wire than the 4awg it recommends. That said, I haven't had any problems with this amp so far, it's a solid amp that hits hard enough for my 2 12's to rattle the windows. I haven't experienced any overheating, but I haven't run it for any longer than 25 minutes at a time.

Stays in Protection Mode after 1 day
Amp is definitely not what is advertised nor described. This Amp is only good for pushing 8's or maybe even 10's. Amp worked for one day, after that it stayed in protection mode. Had to turn the gain down to about 1/4 level just to see if it would stay on. Had it on 2 12s Power Acoustik Gothic's, wired down to 2 ohm and they shut the Amp off! Wouldn't recommend this Amp if you have some Thunder in your Trunk.

Great amp for the money!
I bought this amp almost 3 years ago now. It has been pushing one low profile 12 inch sub in a sealed down firing box. This application requires a good bit of power and honestly the amp has surpassed my expectations. Tons of power with clean clear bass. I've spent three times as much on amps that didn't have half the power. Do yourself a favor and buy one.
