This was recommended to me by a nurseryman and the price was great compared to buying in smaller quantities. However, it burn the zoysia grass where I spread it, so be carful with it. The trees will benefit and the grass will eventually come back, so I'm OK with a ring of brown grass for a while.

Fertilizer for shrubs - easy application and instructions

This product works great. My trees are the greenest ones on the block. Rule of thumb is to put this out twice a year. Once before the last freeze and the second before the hottest Month of the year.

Just applied it a week ago will see how it works as time goes by.

I have been using Fertilome fertilizers for 15 years. In both the North and South. They are easy to apply and they never burn my trees, shrubs and flowering plants. Art Sales via Amazon shipped quickly and priced well. Will purchase again next year.

Seems to work on trees but.... the grass around them died and so did one of my bushes. I did follow directions and none of thefertilizer touched the trunk or bark of the trees and/or bushes. I measured accurately but my Ligustrum, Recurvifouump died.
