Collins French Phrasebook and Dictionary Gem Edition: Essential Phrases and Words in a Mini, Travel-Sized Format

Bought for a biker friend for his hols - about 3 x 2.5in and about half an inch thick - rare because dictionary and phrase book and yet text still clear despite....he was delighted, so was I - cover paper but fairly strong as you would expect from Collins....I would always buy Collins - quality always guaranteed and I have many of them now!! Can highly recommend and cheap when consider 2 for 1....Squirrel 59 - 2.6.16

To be fair not what I was looking for, I wanted a bog standard dictionary that would enable me while in France, to see a word and be able to translate it, but I was hard fetched to make this little book admit it knew half of the French language :o(

Brought for a trip to Paris, came in handy as it has all of the important phrases etc as well as a dictionary which is English to French and vice versa. Not big so was great to carry everywhere.

This was quite useful for our recent trip to France, however I would recommend getting a pocket dictionary to go along side this as the one included is quite limited.

I wish i'd taken this when i went to live and work in France.
