It is the nature of the amplifier to hear a hiss when sat idle. **Q: What's the right sized amp for me?** A: Smaller Amps (MG10 and MG15) are ideal for home practice and keeping things simple — perfect for new players. Mid-range Amps (MG30 and MG50) offer more flexibility for jamming and experimenting with sound with built-in effects. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get it if you like what my comment says! *by on Reviewed in the United States 1 June 2026* This amp can get very loud. The effects are cool! Put an overdrive pedal on the overdrive channel 2 on the amp or have a distortion pedal on the clean channel. That’s the best way for this amp to have high gain. I like to play heavy/modern hard rock/post grunge-metal. I love this amp and the look of this amp especially the Marshall logo!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent amp to pratice at home *by on Reviewed in Canada 27 January 2020* It has been 2 years since I got this amp and I got no issues with it. Still works perfectly. It has a good sound and a lot of sound modification options. I would buy it again any day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Amp with Cool Features *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 September 2026* This amp is great for playing especially around the house. The jack input for playing your music from phone or other device is cool allowing play along to your favorite music. It has lots of nice settings and effects to try out and get the sound you really like. If you like to switch between clean and distortion channels, I suggest getting the foot pedal that goes with it (not included). ## Frequently Bought Together - Marshall MG Gold Series, MG15GFX 15W Guitar Combo Amplifier - New bee 6ft Instrument Cable Bass AMP Cord for Electric ,Bass Guitar, Electric Mandolin, Pro Audio (Right Angle to Straight, Black) - Amazon Basics Adjustable Folding Guitar Stand, A-shape, Fully Assembled - For School Music Program, Concerts & Multiple Users, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/275915331-marshall-amps-guitar-combo-amplifier-m-mg15gfx-u](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/275915331-marshall-amps-guitar-combo-amplifier-m-mg15gfx-u) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
