First there is NO way 4 bikes will fit. Three will tightly. The tongue that goes in car hitch would not slide in. Had to use bench grinder to remove excess metal. The screw cross pin that secures bicycle rack to hitch would not screw in. I had to use a thread tap to clean the threads for it to work. There is no post production QC done at factory.

When I purchased this Bike Rack it was selling for $18.99 with free shipping. For that price it was OK for what I needed it for. I used it to carry 2 bikes about 2 miles across town and never went over 35 mph. I felt like I had to constantly check my mirrors to make sure my bikes hadn't fallen off. I can't imagine trying to strap 4 bikes to this thing and go down the interstate. The build quality is OK, it's just not out of very heavy materials for a rack that is supposed to haul 4 bikes. It will support 4 bikes while standing still, but add the stresses of bouncing down the highway and I wouldn't want to assume the liability of all my bikes falling off and causing a wreck. It is flimsy and does not fit a 2" receiver hitch very tightly so it wobbles around a lot. Now it is selling for $56.95, I would not recommend this product at this price. Actually, I don't think I would recommend it at the price I paid. Pay a little more and get something made from heavier materials. I ended up getting rid of it and bought a used Reese Outfitter bike carrier that is built out of 2" square tubing. There is no comparison in the strength of the Reese carrier. I think I could actually haul my motorcycle on it if I could get it on there.

I have a 1 1/4 inch receiver hitch which this does not fit. When I finally realized it was past the 90 day return period and told to kick rocks. I've hooked up many other trailer balls etc of the same size so I have to assume its just a poor cut of the really cheap and now useless bike rack.

Leaves big gaps inside 2" adapter. Makes the thing rock bag and forth.Also just a hassle to use the crappy red plastic things to hold the bikes.I ended up using bunji cords instead.Alas, this one will sit in corner of garage and I'll probably hit craigslist in hopes of finding a better quality unit.

Don't waste your money. Wobbles all over the place. I've had to rig it to make it so the bikes don't fall off. Will be buying a bether one soon
