Perfect for teaching large/small alphabet pairs
My kid was having a hard time learning to match large letters with the proper small letter, and this puzzle helped it click for him. He doesn't play with it daily, about once or twice a week, and it occupies him for about a full hour.Functionality wise, you'll need some room to set this up, tho the size of the cards are small enough to store in a Ziploc bag to put away. I organize the large letters in one stack, small letters in another stack, and pictures in one stack, and once the matches are completed it can take up about a 4 seating table, thick enough where it doesn't break for a 4 year old (definitely could be taken out by any younger age), decent quality and value for the money overall. Colors are black and white for letters, and the pictures are colored as advertised.

Fun Puzzle For Kids!
My 5 year old daughter loved this little ABC puzzle. It was pretty easy for her and a nice way to incorporate a fun, easy puzzle 🧩 with recognizing different words and matching those to the correct pictures!

Much more than I could have expected!
I bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter that is struggling with learning her letters. This is perfect!! As a bonus, she loves puzzles. If she picks the wrong letter to go with the picture (ie picture of car and she tries to put a G on it) it won't fit. The pieces are sturdy and colorful. What I did was to take letters and pictures A-J and put them in a zip lock. Once she has mastered them, I will add an extra one until we get through the whole alphabet. Having them all out at one time can be a little overwhelming. Don't hesitate to purchase. I'm going to see if there is one for numbers too!

Kid tested; fun and super helpful with number learnin'!
Not a traditional matching game, but my 5 year old still loves it and it really helped him learn the spelled out versions of the numbers. Lots of different ways to play this game, and all of them enjoyable for the child. I had a lot less fun with this game than I do with the regular matching/memory games, but it is not for me and it definitely works as a way to make numbers fun for children (at least for my child!).The prep time is annoying because you have to sit there and make sure you have the 3 corresponding pieces for each number (we rarely do all of the numbers at once because it just takes too long to play and gets a bit tiresome). It still definitely gets 5 stars, though, because it is fun for my kid and after playing it twice he had learned nearly all of the spelled out numbers, something he had been struggling with for weeks before we got this game. The game designers/creators definitely knew what they were doing and I am so happy!

A teacher's opinion...
As a teacher and mom of a two year old, I really love this product. I saw a similar product at a teacher store, but I prefer this puzzle because it has a picture on the front to give my child a clue for each match. I also like how durable the pieces feel. There are a few pictures that my two year old couldn't figure out which way was up or down so he couldn't fit the letters in to match. For example, the sun looks the same from all of the angles and he puts it upside down so the letters don't fit. I like matching puzzles to have a few separate bags to store pieces in so kids can easily do them on their own and not get overwhelmed with all of the pieces. I simply do it myself with Ziplock bags, but then they don't fit in the original box this way. This is a personal preference, but I wish more matching puzzles did this. **UPDATE** My son is now four. He is able to figure out the the sun puzzle piece. However, I wish that all of the vowels were the short vowel sound. He got a little confused because they were the long vowel sound. In my school district, they focus mostly on short vowel sounds until the end of first grade where they are introduced to long vowel. It's only I and O. They are ice cube and orange instead of igloo and octopus. Overall, it's a great product.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Great to help develop critthinking skills by allowing kids to sequence the pictures on the puzzle.

26 letters in the alphabet
When I received this, I was a bit worried that it wasn't the complete alphabet because the box says 20 sets of cards. Thankfully, all 26 letters are present and accounted for. It's really hard to find products that isolate the capital and lowercase letters so I was super happy to find this. I follow a Montessori style approach so I plan on introducing the picture sounds, then the lower case, then the uppercase. The self correcting component is super important as well. I recently picked up a similar set at Target that are not self-correcting. They won't teach the child bc any letter and picture can match even when completely incorrect. My only critique is that the letter /i/ uses ice as the picture instead of igloo with the short vowel sound. I am going to draw an igloo on there. I may also draw a colored border around the vowels to distinguish them. The cards are nice and thick though my daughter hasn't played with them yet to truly see how they hold up. Overall, I think this set is a really affordable option and I'm happy with my purchase.

More than just a puzzle!
Not only is this a fun, educational game to play the traditional way, but it is also very exciting to have your tot find those body parts on himself. My 2 1/2 year old learned a lot of self awareness by playing this game. It has also made him more aware of letters and words in general. It’s a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone with a little one. Would make a great gift as well!
