Grace Notes: My Recollections

Have always found something adorable about Katey Sagal and had been wanting to read this since hearing of it. It really reads as if she has unself consciously sat down and written her feelings which is very unusual in an auto biography. And its very open and tenderly done. She's not a pushover but she loves with all her being and this comes over very much, especially for her children and her love for her daughter Ruby, who she lost, thrives vibrantly, which I love. It's like she's writing it to herself but letting us in. It's like spending time with her and her really opening up but at the same time realising that she's an incredibly private and independent person. She is a man's woman but you feel if you met her she'd be your kind of person. I finished wanting to know/ask her more but at the same time appreciate how much she shared.. it was like meeting up with a friend😊

I finished the book within a couple of days and i absolutely loved it. Katey Sagal is one of my favourite actresses. I loved her in mwc, 8 simple rules, sons of anarchy,the bastard executioner and superior donuts. I also loved her in chance of a lifetime with the late John Ritter. I loved the whole book. She is an amazing actress

Its not an autobiography as such, more a collection of memories. The first chapters had me feeling emotional and sad and have definately grown my respect for Katey all the more. A true inspiration to everyone, A great read and totally worth the money.

Katey Sagal is gracious,and opens up some of her world. The book is touching, as well as some humour.Once I started reading,I hated being interrupted.Highly recommended read!
