Conan The Barbarian Ultimates: War Paint Conan

The new line of figures from this amazing property have been a highlight to this year. Thulsa Doom and Conan arrive with vivid details and unbeleiveable craftsmanship. If you are a collector, rejoice 🙌🏼PS - I do not open or play with collectibles so I cannot comment on some of the issues folks are having with parts.

An awesome figure of the legendary Conan The Barbarian. The sword looks fantastic and the box has a nice texture to it. The seller packaged it very well.

I've had nostalgia for the first Conan film as long as I can remember. Never a year goes by where I don't watch this film from start to finish at least a half dozen times. The music, the plot, the less-is-more dialogue, the action sequences, and finally the iconic characters make this film easily one of the best ever made.This figure truly relives a great moment from the film, Conan at his peak during the story, back from the dead to seek revenge upon Thulsa Doom and to rescue the wayward princess from his grasp.My only possible gripe about this figure is that the sword is much larger than it's supposed to be, it is made as if it was a twohanded sword, but the film version is more like a bastard sword of slightly shorter length than that type. It also looked like there was supposed to be a bloodless version of the sword based on some of the photos, but I can't complain much. The sword is great. Nothing some 3d printing of another one resized won't cure, and it still looks good with the figure regardless. The wheel of pain amulet he wears kinda gets caught in the area where his head sits, causing it to flex upwards, but if you're a stickler for that you could snip that bit and hotglue it to some real string that would hang looser.On the details, the figure comes with different sets of hands for posing with hands open, fists closed, or grasping the sword. Hot water loosens up the hands for sword attachment. It also comes with a different head where Conan is gaping in rage/anger. If this company offers Rexor or Thorgrim for diorama purposes, those bits will come in handy to display them in combat together.

The figure is great and as Arnold as you could ask for…the only drawback (and a disappointing one) is that Conan cannot hold that great looking sword he comes with! One of the reasons I went for it pertained to the pictures clearly showing him wielding his sword…that cost at least a star (only because I still have the Christmas spirit)…

This is the best Conan figure for the $, pound for pound. Just look at my pix, from an experienced toy collector. Buy today.
