Works well to make tempeh, works out cheaper than buying tempeh usually.
Making tempeh is actually quite simple, you dont need a lot of kit and the tempeh definitly tastes better than the frozen stuff from the asian store or the expensive stuff from the supermarket, it has a kind of nutty flavour in comparison but less of the 'tempeh' flavour that some people find of putting. You only really need something to wrap the parcooked beans and starter/vinegar in (dosent need to be banana leaves or anything) and somewhere to keep it warm like in a tropical climate (a coolbox/heat pad or a an oven with the light on or a yogurt maker)

Works really well.
I was a little unsure if this starter would actually work, but! It works brilliantly. I've made a couple of batches of tempeh now, using this, and I'm really happy with the results. Some helpful advise though, when you find some good online videos on how to make tempeh, follow them to the letter, it really will make a big difference.

Works well
Able to make okara tempeh with it. And it does not need a large quantity to be used just the normal advised on typical tempeh recipes.

Does the job
Works well. I think the people who struggle with it in the UK are trying to do it at ambient temperature, which is too cold for the fungi to grow. You need a temperature between 32 and 40 C for it grow well.
