Awesome little block heater!
So glad I went with the in-line hose heater over the freeze plug types. Had perfect starts the entire time during this past winter, and we had record lows in colorado!

This was very easily installed, and it works
This was very easily installed, and it works. I cut 3 inches from the center of my 1993 Explorer lower radiator hose and installed this heater. It has good clamps with it that fit the correct hose size. There were no leaks. I've plugged this heater in overnight when our Kansas temperature is freezing or below. You can tell the engine is turning over easier when first starting, and within a block of home, the Explorer heater is putting out warm air. In half a mile, it's hot. I'm not sure how well this will work at zero degrees, but I'm very pleased so far.

Doesn't keep coolant as warm as ad states.
Unit is very easy to install and has many asking why I have a plug hanging out of my grille in the winter time! The unit seems to keep only the general area of the coolant warm on a 30 degree day although the rest of the hoses are still warmer than the rest of the outside air. It drastically decreases warm up time still and was worth the money and time.

Unfortunate
I am one of those unfortunate people who received a product that failed the first time I needed it to work. Installed in the fall and tested. Worked great! Went out to heat up my tractor and blew the circuit breaker. Ohm out the leads and it's shorted to ground. I won't be able to replace it until it warms up. Looking at other options.

Very Good product
This is not too difficult to install, depending on how accessible the lower radiator hose is. The most significant step is that the radiator must be drained of coolant. So, installing this heater when you have flushed the cooling system would be a good opportunity. Another option is that the coolant drained can be re-used if it is drained into a clean container.

Works great, heats fast.
Works as described. The company personally responded to a few questions I asked in email. It circulates water by boiling it. So the unit does get EXTREMELY HOT to the touch. At first I was hesitant it was faulty but it works like a charm starting my diesel tractor in 0 degree weather.
