DEKSDektite 7 Gray EPDM Metal Roof Pipe Flashing, Round Base, Pipe OD 6" - 11"

Ordered it expedited shipping, because it was cold in my house. Meanwhile I was cold. As soon as it arrived, I tried it on, and it worked quite well as a stylish hat, bonus! (sadly no photos).I trimmed it down to 8-8.5" opening with some small surgical scissors, that was pretty straight forward.It fit pretty tight over the insulated stainless still chimney pipe. I prepped the area around the opening in the roof with roofing silicone, then placed it on.I then screwed it into place with roofing screws that included a rubber gasket.After that I went inside and started a fire, (in the stove) and then my house was warm.Very happy and warm.

This is a good product for the right application, vent pipe etc. It does not work well for wood burning stove pipe on corrugated roofs, fore the creosol will eat the caulk and you will have a leak, I tried several different roof flashing caulks to no avail, had to underlay metal flashing.

Doesn't work on a 12/12 pitch (8 inch OD insulated pipe. Waste of time and money. They should put a better description.
