Go for it
Slide the hose onto plastic tips, then use the lighter for a second to heat up hose end and push it all the way over the plastic, then use ziptie to secure hose. Provided zipties are too narrow, so i used wider ones to hold hose in place securely. No pressure problems if you setup correctly. I use additional water pumps for my garden and pressure is high, hoses will come off without zipties. Mist sprayers work well, drippers seem to get clogged now and then so should check system occasionally.
