Dont bother, I've tried to get it to function even minimally with no luck.

It works fantastic, if you have big folds or dips it will get stuck.
The media could not be loaded. Ubove ground pool. Make sure bottom is even , no big dips or folds in liner or it gets stuck. Otherwise it works fantastic. Drop it in for couple hours then retrieve and dump , rinse and charge for next day. So easy

Good for quick cleanups-update, not so good
Update after using it for a while. It goes straight to the wall and sits. If you tug on the string sometimes it will spin around and go again, only to stop at another wall and sit. I've cleaned it and flushed it to try to remove any grit that was keeping it from spinning around, but no luck so far. Had to drag my old worn out suction side Hayward vac to get the pool cleaned up. It gets stuck sometimes too, but not as bad as this one. It has decent propulsion and suction for what it is, but it just gets stuck too often and can't just be dropped in for an hour and left to clean on it's own. The amount of effort it takes to keep it going is more than just using a regular vac. I hope someone makes one of these that actually works one day....Original Review: I always hated dragging my pool vac in and out, and having to get on my hands and knees to plug the hose into the suction port in the pool. I liked the idea of a cordless vac to pick up any leaves or debris that ends up in the pool.I set this up and charged it as directed. It actually works pretty well but with some limitations. First, it's not a smart device so it randomly roams the pool and can sometimes miss things. Despite that, it does pick up quite a bit including sand and coarse dirt. It's easy enough to clean, you just fish it out with the included hook attachment that you put on your pool net pole and them snap it apart and hose it off. It got a couple of cups of sand out of the pool the first time I used it. It does run for quite a while, but I didn't want to run it until it dies to preserve the battery, so I pull it out and charge it after it runs for a while. While it's decent at picking up coarse sand or small debris, it's not a replacement for a pool vac. The unit uses a fairly fine screen as a filter which is good, but doesn't catch finer particles like a filter can. I noticed after running it that brushing the pool would still produce a little cloud of the fine particles that had accumulated on the bottom. For that you really need to vacuum using the pool filter as this dust will pass through the cordless vac filter and remain in the pool.I have noticed it getting stuck from time to time as it fails to turn around when stopped. I suspect that if it gets too much grit in it that it will not spin as freely. Of course it's no worse than my Hayward Navigator which likes to get tangled up or sit in one corner, so you just have to watch it and clean it well between uses.I do wish that it had a batter life indicator, but understand that this would add cost and complexity being in a harsh environment. For the price, it does work well for basic cleanups but isn't intended to replace your pool vac. It's like comparing a roomba to a Kirby, one is for tidying up and convenience while the other is for deeper cleaning.

Worked great until it didn’t
Worked really well, like incredibly well - our pool is underneath a tree that drops tiny little seeds, pods, and leaves constantly and this makes quick work of cleaning up every bit of that however, it didn’t make it past a month before it suddenly quit working. Thankfully, it was still within its return window by like two days, so I was able to return it and find something else.

will not turn
does not turn after the first few turns. we tried everything. We watched several videos and tried troubleshooting and still it still does not turn. After reading all the reviews and returns, it was evident that the maker of this product is aware of the problems and should have ordered recalls on this product for this problem but, instead chooses to continue marketing them.

Neat little machine
The is a nest little vacuum. We have an 18 ft round above ground pool. For the price point it does a good job. It is easy to get started and clean. After 90 minutes it left a couple of small areas.

Sehr guter Reinigungsroboter
